On the F1 leaderboard says im D2 Bronze?

Sorry. Our online copy of the handicaps is out of date a bit. I'll fix yours individually myself. We will run a general update too, but were waiting for the next set of new drivers and promotions.

The OLR admin team is proud to announce that Paul (oink) has accepted our invitation to join the WRS Online Stewards Team!

Paul has already proven a significant contributor to the WRS community since joining and we're looking forward to racing and working with him for a long time! Paul's already made contributions with some very nice instructional and promotional videos for our series and will continue to be involved in that area as well as other steward's duties.

As one of his first major projects Paul is going to fully broadcast of The WRS Grand Prix of Monaco on May 25/26 via his twitch channel. The broadcast will include live video and commentary from the racing lounge for both knockout qualifying and the grand prix itself... be sure to tune in if you are racing yourself!

Welcome to the GTP_OLR team Paul!

Thanks everyone, glad to know my contributions are valued. Look forward to helping out in the future 👍

So I passed this today in Santa Cruz:

Thought it was my beloved Opel Speedster / Vauxhall vx220, but turns out it was a Saturn Sky, which is basically a replica and pretty sweet in itself:

I know what I want for Christmas!

Does look very similar. The Vauxhall version is not so uncommon in the UK, see them every so often. Kinda looks like a Lotus, then you take a closer look and "oh no, its only a vauxhall" :D

Bummer can't make it on either days got karting on the Sunday and a scout camp on the Saturday maybe another time

There will likely be another parity combo in June at some point, but nothing definitive at this point.

If you are available on Thursday and Friday next week (May 16/17) we often do practices for parity including short practice races. And they are just about as much fun as the actual event. But of course they are only fun if you have the time to really get consistent lap times and dial in a car to be within the specs and as close to the time without going under and that takes some investment.

GT Academy starts in July according to Jordan!... I've got hope! 👍

Kaz is taking the stage... GT6 on PS3... Holiday Season 2013... Guess I'll get more use out of those three PS3's and won't be spending money on a PS4 for a while.

I was hoping on PS4 TBH, PS3 has too many limitations. It's too old IMO.

I did too think it would be a PS4 game at first (late last year), but since the PS4 reveal we've been given pretty clear signals that it was going to be a PS3 games. Do you think they would reveal a PS4 and not show GT6 if it was a launch title? No way!

Don't worry... you'll end up getting a GT on PS4 before too long. Maybe even by holiday 2014. Based on what I've read from Jordan's tweets PD rewrote a lot of the core of the game and it's setup perfectly to run on multiple platforms. Why would they do that except to facilitate an easy transition to PS4 (and vita). They aren't building this for an XBox.

All I know... I'm all in and I'm not going to down the game or get discouraged until I see it first hand. For all of it's faults, GT5 has kept my almost constant attention for 2+ years and likely 6 more months. :sly:

PS> Any programmer who tells you PD "maxed out" the platform hasn't rewritten the core of a program after a few years of seeing where it's gone and seeing other innovations in the field. There are methods/approaches/algorithms today that weren't even thought of when the core of GT5 was coded... it's not just hardware that evolves.

I agree, everyone thought the ps2 was maxed out until god of war came out, which basically took the ps2 to a whole different level.

This is what worries me the most from the blog article.

'A new rendering engine that pushes the limits of the PS3'

I'm not planning on spending money on a new PS3 with the PS4 in sight as I still have an old 40Gb fatty (with a 250Gb HDD) running here. :scared:

If it made it this far you're probably fine for another year. Just keep the thing cool. I suspect they'll be selling some crazy "bundles" this holiday season. I'm now going to set up triple screen... I was holding off waiting to see what support GT6 on PS4 might have, but at this point I'm just taking the plunge since I already have 3x PS3 and 3x GT5. Just have to get a triple monitor mount for my obutto ($99) and then 3 screens. I have a 27" in screen and that's too big for triples, so I'm going to get 3x 23" or 24" most likely. :dopey:

I'm very happy that gt6 is going to be on ps3, I wasn't crazy about the thought of buying a ps4 at max price.

Sounds like a sweet setup you're working on there Tim.

Just read the full post on gt6, it sounds fantastic, I just hope they deliver the full game, and on time.

If I can customize my cars through the app while I'm at work, yikes, that might be trouble.

Would they have to have been working on 6 before 5 was released? Considering 5 took so long, it seems pretty quick to release another with a brand new engine, so many new tracks and features.

I think theres alot of gt5 fans right now that are going through alot of effort to organise there own racing events and series, but now we're going to actually support it as a system

Kaz himself :D Thats us! This could be awsome for us lot!

Just ordered three of these ASUS VN247H-P monitors from amazon.com and the obutto triple monitor mount... Should have the triple screen setup and running by the end of next week... maybe even use it for the F1 Monaco GP!!

Awesome! You're going to love it I'm sure. I will do it eventually but we don't have the space right now. I'm lucky my wife allows the rig to sit in the corner of the living room.:scared:
