I had the same issue with @PASM 's old DFP it was always braking about 5%. However instead of opening up (im very hessitant doing these sort of things to stuff of others) I used the bungeecord mod. Basically you stap a bungeecord to the padle which makes sure the brakes arent applied in rest but also gives a nice progressive brakepaddle (I think bart quite liked the mod to the pedals. However you need to find a way of balancing them. In my case my slippers did the job. I know it's an macguyver approach but maybe it can be a cheap/easy fix till you get something new. Planning overtakes? Where can I safely punt the car off track so I can drink my beer quicker
Defending your position? Slam the breaks on at random points so the car behind gets a penalty for ramming me.
Pit strategies? Only if I can cut the track so I can make time up for pitting.

I'm always thinking to myself "where is the next brake marker and don't overshoot it".

As you can see some of us have much simpler goals in mind when racing

Brake markers and pit strategies are about all I can manage while driving. Especially when brake markers have been removed. Then it takes a few laps to recalibrate.

It depends on the race I'm in with friends or wrs races as both call for a different style

Wrs:smooth,clean racing,achieve a podium

Friends:what ever it takes to win its about bragging rights now

Planning overtakes?

Wrs:make it clean pick the right moment
Friends: every corner is a overtake attempt prepare to be hit

Defending your position?

Wrs:hold my position no rash moves
Friends:I'm putting you in the wall, on the grass or il spin you

Pit strategies?

Wrs:what ever @PASM does I do

Friends:never happens in a friend lobby

- can I hold back to the finish or do I need a long pitstop
- planning what now?
- I think space is more important than defense

Mostly during pitstops via undercuts

Defending your position?
Exit out of the straights much quicker every time.Easy to defend around corners.
Pit strategies?
Most of the time I try the undercut with the car I am in proximity with , and enter lobby quickly to get a starting pit garage

We have a thread with a very similar title in the WRS Steward batcave and I thought I was replying to that, I didn't realize Paul was advertising in public. So I guess we can open the pics up to everyone, @hasslemoff? I think all that's left is to proofread the thread and push it public?

Guys,my PS3 is acting up.When I press power button it goes green and turns off automatically within 5 seconds . The all lights of PS3 go off . It happened first time before the start of the NA race. But somehow it started and worked without hiccups through the race. Now again , it won't start up. Any help would be appreciated .
