So many cars to choose from ,and what happened?

For now ended up with a car I used in the Monza Parity race, the Audi R8 chrome line.:dopey:

The Audi fits the time and speed perfectly but I have others to test some more.
The BMW M3 chromeline,Rocket 07 and the X-bow are still in the running.

Btw it seems we have an easy combo this time but the track and the CS makes is pretty challenging.:)

I'd quite like a go at this! Need to see if I've got free time on the night. Oh and I need to read the rules! /noob

Well I'll be there, that's for sure. Brands Hatch is top 3 for me.

I'm using a car that I also used in my very first parity event, way back last year with the Dead Nuts Even crew - the Opera Performance S2000 '04. It was great then at Suzuka East and it's just even better now at Brands Hatch Indy on the same tires then as now, CS.

Will try and make both events, but not sure what Sunday is looking like at the moment so I've left that as a maybe.

Same here Sjaak, so many cars, and I like a lot of them, so not decided yet, still a dozen to choose from :)

I'm out of Sundays race, the missus treated me with a day out for xmas.

Hope you all had a merry xmas.

Just registered as reserve for both races.
Only had a quick go with two cars, hope to get some time to test tonight.
Probably I will set up a friend only room tonight, will post here if I do.

I really wanted to try this one but things are too busy around here, hope all of you have a great time.

Changed my status, will probably not be there tonight, but tomorrow I will. If I get home in time tonight I will drop in ....

EDIT : I will be driving the humble Ford Focus ST '13, on Sports Hard, less horsepower then most of the entries, and a lower topspeed aswell, but sharp through corners, fun to drive this car....

I may have erred. I got the GTEYE spring for Xmas and put it in yesterday. It's like having a whole new rig. I was Wheel 'Locky' McLockerson for over an hour , though I am starting to get the feel for it. Should be an interesting race today...:nervous:

Made a practice room.

ID is,

I might join and see if I can get a car up to speed untill the races start.
I don't have too many cars now so it should be fairly easy to find one. :)

Fun races

Great fun also with the Stratoses. Unfortunately my game froze and I'm tired so see you guys next time.

The Elise was a blast to drive and really fast through the corners but it was just gutless on the straight where everyone pulled away from me. I led two of the races for multiple laps got 4th, 6th, 3rd, and 9th. I REALLY effed up that last lap but I'm pretty happy with how well I did. I think I'm proudest of the fact that I didn't tap anyone and I think that's a first for me. I usually end up bumping someone's tail at least. I think driving with ABS0 has helped make me more conservative in my driving and I think that's a good thing.

Had a lot of fun, great nose to tail, door to door racing with excellent drivers! Thanks!

It was a pleasure today, got close to almost everybody, and all were quite competent and controlled in their 53.0 machines. :)

Speedy kept adding weight and dropping HP and that Focus just kept winning.

Some pics:

Scary moments of the day. :scared: Turn 1 alongside Sjaak, and the high-speed left before the final corner with a crowd. 👍

I didn't win, but this car looks good and has some unreal grip on Comfort Softs (PL = 65%)

I ended up with stock weight + 65kg. :sly:
I was no match to anyone during the grid start or on the straight but then came the turns and that car was just awesome in the turns. :D

Like I mentioned yesterday, awsome car in the corners, I will be there with one today aswell....
mine will be Havana brown, so i am not driving the anniversary car.

Again good fun last night,
Choice of my car was not the best, wheel spin high in third yeahhh,so I hope to have some time to test an other one.
Thanks for the racing, guys. here are some impressions from the races.

Handling versus speed

I've changed cars for the Sunday race. I'm running a lightly tuned (then power limited to 85%) BMW CSL (494pp, 366hp, 1450kg (+65kg over stock,) hits 127mph at the braking point for the first turn, CS tires, just a shade past 53sec lap time.) I sacrificed speed through the corner with the Elise for more leg on the straight with the CSL. Wonderful car though tail happy so I've got to be gentle. (I see spins in my future.)

EDIT: Ok, I'm now up to +105kg and I keep finding speed!

Excited for some close action racing......The ST fits me like a glove, curious now how it will do in competition...

You were relentless. Turn 2 was my continuous kryptonite. :banghead:I think I'll stick with the WRX. If I have some time, I might tweak the suspension for the hairpin. My best lap so far was a 53.2. There's a little left to find.

See you on the track 👍

You guys were great, I was a complete and unmitigated failure.

Sark

Not true at all, you did great Sark! 👍
Had a few good battles with you.

Thanks for racing today, guys.
As always, I had a blast, love the Parity racing.

Was pretty pleased with my car, powerful on the straights and not too bad in the corners, especially in the hairpin.
Hope to see you all soon on track.
