When the DLC came out you could only use the DLC content with the account you purchased it. I had to run the Spa TT (Week 38) offline on my other account. I knew the DLC data was already there with the patch and just had to be unlocked, so I did a little test. I exported my ghost replay and imported it into my GTP account and watched it without a problem. You don't need to buy the DLC to watch a replay that involves a DLC car or track.

Thanks for the info. I was concerned because I knew when Spa came out, you didn't need to have it to race on line there as long as the host had it. I heard now you can't race there if you don't have it. I don't know for sure (because I have all the DLC's), but that's what I hear.
Interesting experience last night. Got home and set up an account as an individual in Turkey with a fictitious address somewhere in Istanbul. Tried to input my credit card info into PSN Store and of course it wouldn't take it as my account with WellsFargo is obviously not in Turkey. I could put in all the correct info, but it won't let you change the country!
I bounced around in different areas and was somehow able to get the system to take my credit card info with Turkey as the country. Cool!! Back to the store to see if I could buy any DLC. Nope!! Apparently Wellsfargo can't make the jump to Turkish Lira or is balking at approval due to Turkey as the country in the address.
I'll download an old PAL replay from Spa or indoor Kart track and see if it will play. If it does, I'll give up on the DLC idea for the PAL version.

Patrick Crider (GTP_Sohnvonstig) made the finals as racer X and has now pushed out the 32nd fastest and moved into the top 32!

Great experience, but didn´t make the cut to the second day, and the top 16, but in our country only the first 3 are going to Silverstone.
Not making excuses but my practice and of a lot of portuguese mates were completely wrong.
We tought that the finals were based on races against each other, so for the first time i went online and trained for it (and i´m really bad, need a lot of practice
).
Well, arrived there and it was all about time trials
But that´s what i like right? But i also trained almost with sports hard, and all the cars had race hards
And if that was not enough, on two of the three TT, i was placed on Pod 4, the same pod that on day 2 one of soon to be second place said that was something wrong with it, and the organization found a delay between the PS3 and the TV
On that two TT i found i was really slow, but was blaming the DFGT (so much inferior to my G27) and what i think was to be to close to the TV
But no more excuses, had a blast, and went from my home town with 3 mates, and when we came back i had with me the overall winner, 4º place and 12º place

Feel disappointed for you Joao, but it shouldn't matter as long you had a good time.
I think one more year of WRS TTs will give you enough practice for next time
