hi guys,
basically its been ages since i last competed in the wrs, and i just wan to clear something up. Just doing the qualifiers now, done a benchmark time which i still haven't beaten after another 50 laps. Ive watched the replay back and found two wheels over the white line on turn 1 exit. From memory two wheels have to be on track at all times, so should i consider this lap clean or dirty.
Alex

Depends on whether you're talking about Brands or Willow, the boundary lines are different for each. You should take a look at the specifics in the Qualifier thread.

Its on willow, sorry for not clarifying Gravitron, its a no kerb area, just the solid white line then dirt. Two wheels cross the white line and are on the dirt, two wheels are well on the track still.

As long as two wheels are on track at all times, it's clean. If a third wheel goes past the white line then it's dirty.

That's fine. To clarify iainoflo85's commment, the line rule on this track is quite specific, and special to this event. Essentially, you must keep part of 2 tires on unpainted tarmac. If you had 2 in the dirt, and 1 or 2 fully on the white painted line, without touching black tarmac, it would be dirty.

I was going to post this in the site support section for Jordan to see (as a possible bug), but maybe admins/mods already know the answer to this.

When a new thread that has been prepared a few days in advance goes live (such as a new TT or live event), the first posts are considered as having been read already and so takes you to the next post (often #3 or #4 in the thread) when it should ideally start you at the first post.

I was wondering how that worked for you guys...I've always seen those threads before they go live, so I get the same behavior you described, but yeah that seems not-optimal (or correct) if you really haven't seen the first posts.
I'll see if I can get you an answer.

GT3. WRS started out on GT3.

Nevermind, I found this as well. Did not realize he was an original. :)

Yes Sir :). The WRS has come leap years from what I remember when Boombexus was running it. The beginning really was something else. After participating in the GT3 WRS I had challenged a friend to a race at Rome one night. He was a pretty good racer.

The race was him in a FGT while I piloted the Gillet Vertigo (having just competed in the week 3 WRS I believe). It was 15 laps. Through the race I lead 13 laps From the 2nd until the 14th. He narrowly edged me out by less then .2xx seconds. It was quite a race and almost the upset of the century for me to beat him with the odds in his favor the whole race. That spawned a whole ton of lopsided races we would challenge ourselves to. Some of the favorites we had were Civic vs. Integra, Evo vs STI, Japanese Sport car versus American Muscle, so on so forth.

It is great to see how far the WRS has come from the beginning with name calling and hard times to really upload replays. It was a pain in the ass back then at least for me.

Just ordered a ps3 off fleabay. Its a refurbished one, so its a guess on how long it'll last. I can finally do the qualifier and be placed in div4 bronze :) I'm so rusty, I'll never be able to get back in form with my limited playing time.

Ehh having some issues submitting. I only have one PSN account, not even sure how this is possible. The registry submission went fine...

Submission for week 1 is REJECTED!

The psn in the replay 'sr686' does not match your own psn 'esr686'

Please go to your conversation with Fetchy and add Gravitron, via the "Invite More" link on the right.

Not quite. :P I still have some driving to do. :)

Go 'Hawks!

, if the Pats couldn't win this year my next choice is my wife's Seahawks (and my last choice would be Peyton's team) so I'm happy for you Lucas. Happy wife, happy life. Would have been a rough night if they had lost. :scared:

I don't know what lane I'm in :( and this is i-75
