I think I'm done and will submit tomorrow. I've had more than my fill of apricots.

Good luck folks.

over 130 participates, which is great. 👍

I was hoping that the 300 would show up

Finally starting to get the hang of turns 1 and 2... and some time gained in the third sector as well, for 0.25s overall.

Looking at the Leaderboard I think I'm overseeing something.

I really hope I run a better lap, it's not fun to verify that last chicane. I thought it was dirty when I first checked, but it's sliding so much it has at least an inch of rubber on the rumble at the front.

Might want to submit that now, to make sure replay checks out. You can submit multiple times, might be you messed up a setting.

Not really happy with my third sector but it will have to do for this week.

You meant to quote the other post, right? Yeah, I'll submit it today, just to make sure. 👍

You have to press all three at the same time once you're loaded in to the game and the wheel has calibrated or wheel will stay in 900* rotation there are a few clips on YouTube that show how to do it.

I cant seem to find anything. Guess it's a lost cause.

Holy crap James and Andrew... I really need to put some time into this tomorrow but I'm looking for about 0.2 and can't imagine getting anywhere near those times. Mental.

On another note, week 2 is now live for anyone who wants to change it up. ;)

Thanks Chris for the heads up.👍

Most probably my last splits for this combo. I have better splits that would put me one position up, but this is a faster lap.

I've submitted my replay to FetchBot twice over the duration of this time trial and I still haven't received a response from Fetchy. Can anyone help me?

New splits for a 0.018 over the line :D:

Not my best by any means, and I've been trying to beat them for the last half hour, but can't beat my T3 time.

To those that are a bit farther down the list, please don't get discouraged, you are only going to get better. Don't give up, just stick with it, good things will come. We all had to start somewhere, and I have yet to meet anyone that just popped out of their mother's womb and instantly became a star, so just hang in there. When I first started TT'ing, I couldn't even keep a car on the bloody track, but I hung in there, practiced, and absorbed all the tips I could, and eventually got to the point where I am today. So please, be patient, believe in yourselves, and don't give up. It is great seeing all these new faces around, and I truly do hope everyone sticks around. As you can see so far, this is truly a great community to be a member of, and you can rest easy knowing that you are surrounded by some of the best drivers the game has seen.....so don't be afraid to ask questions and seek advice from them, they are your greatest resource here. Its a blast having you all here, hope everyone decides to stick around and see it through, you'll thank yourselves in the end. Keep the pedal down, and keep reaching for the top.

Just wanted to comment on this as I can relate...

Up until this week, my WRS activity has been solo. I would do the event for about 2-3 hours, to the point where I felt I couldn't get any faster, and call it good. Doing the best I could and finding out it was so slow was very demoralizing. Usually I didn't even submit. Eventually I stopped (admittedly other life factors were at play there.)

This time around I did my 2-3 hours, posted my splits, and they weren't that great. But watched the S1 video. I read the discussions on this combo. I cut .6 off my total time. I kept reading. A few days later I cut .6 again. My T2 split is a full second lower than when I would have previously quit.

I'm not paying any attention to the overall ranking, I'm thrilled with my results as they relate to my ability and division.*

Big thanks to the community here!

*Well... I'm mostly thrilled. I really feel like I should be able to shave a bunch off my T1 time, but I'm utterly failing to do so. If I could pull off a 24.5 I'd jump for joy and call it good.

There's a quote I thought of in college when I was racing against Mr.P and other GT legends back in the GT3 days. I think it applies directly to the WRS.

"Compare Yourself To The Best Of Your Own Abilities"

I know I'm not the fastest, but what is important to me is getting better and getting consistent at my best pace.

It's easy to get caught up in how you compare to others, especially with this slick leaderboard we have. But don't get discouraged, just keep chipping away at the stone and sometimes you find a real gem!

Nearing my limit, maybe one more tenth at this point. The Ferrari TT is calling me.

The FXX is definitely more fun than this one.

I was just informed that temp. can make a difference in your lap times. Is this true?

See below quote.

For some reason I find I go quicker when the temperature is colder. I don't know whether it is psychological with me because I know race engines always run better when its cold.
