We have a handicap multiplier formula (posted in the OP) that we use, it gives a little 'competitive boost' to those with a higher handicap. Here's the breakdown of your points Tuffers using your handicap of 4.076:

(1-0.1*4.076+0.1*4.076^2) = 2.253 (handicap multiplier) * 6 points (event 1 results) = 13.52 total points.

Whereas if we didn't do a handicap multiplier, you would get just 6 total points and if you look at doodlemonoply's total points, it's 25.30 where the 25 points is coming from finishing in 1st place. You gained an extra 7 points or so from the handicap multiplier where doodle gained just .3 points.

Thanks I thought it was that.

So today I bought the RX7. I decided it should have an epic matte color but I only had a light grey one. So I googled which matte color came with which car. So I chose the matte dark grey of the AMG SLS did a few races bought that car with the color and used the color for my RX 7. And the result.... It looks horrible on this car. My eyes hurt every time I even look near the monster. So I spend 215 000 credits on the car paint and it's an abomination so before I'll get to the TT part I'm gonna cry whilst laying in the fetal position under a cold shower sobbing, shivering and thinking of my happy place.

But I'll give the TT a go when I find renewed emotional strength to get over this great depression and hopefully I will be recovered from the severe hypothermia.

On the upside I acquired an AMG SLS which is nice!
Poor thing... Here borrow my Teddy Bear :( ;)

You won't have to worry about me this week. I'm not going to have much time to put into this.
After watching some replays of DS3 users I have no idea how you guys do it. In fact I should try it to see how much slower I would be.

Sssshhh...don't tell me that otherwise if i do well, I'll think it was only because faster guys didn't run enough

I have no idea how we do it either! From my point of view, I have only ever used a DS3. In fact, prior to the end of December I was pretty rubbish at driving as I had always driven with TCS 5 on permanently (never thought to turn it off), then started a new save with it turned off as much as possible and I have improved more than I could have imagined. It helps not being able to work as it gives me plenty of time to run events, watch videos, read advice etc which all helps. And if I was able to use L2/R2 I would be a lot more faster!

Can I ask where people are shifting gears? Peak HP for this car is supposedly at about 6,500rpm and peak torque is at 5,000rpm...it just feels too low in the rev range to be shifting...are others' shifting around those ranges? Do I trust the figures GT is pumping out? Do you go by feel more?

I've not paid much attention to rpm much in the past except I noticed it made a BIG difference in Week 6 with the Focus @ Brand's Hatch, just wondering if this week is a bit like that???

I need some more runs to build up courage for that sharp right after T1 :nervous:

It's fairly simple calculation but difficult to do with the crappy graph in GT6. You shouldn't be shifting at the peak torque. You should be shifting at the point where the higher gear gives you more torque to the ground (engine torque divided by transmission ratio (final/gear)).
I can guesstimate the numbers and run it through a script.

In this car I'm shifting as or just before the shift blinker flashes.

Curious bit...is aero required? Obviously it doesn't affect PP anymore (at last that I have seen). Does Fetchy check for it like other settings?

Really? How should we know, we didn't test that scenario as we didn't think anyone would refuse the aero. :P The flat floor does actually add 19 PP, by the way, so you should at least pick that up for sure. If you really want no wing then try sending in a replay and see what Master Fetchy says. You be the guinea pig. But you really should just conform to the OP.

 Resistance is futile...I have conformed. :D May send one in without the wing just to see what happens.

Struggling to learn this spaghetti a bit though. :scared:

Just like the man trying to stick it to the little guy. WE WILL NOT CONFORM TO YOUR AREODYNAMICAL WAYS! We will not bite the hand that feeds us, but rise against the hand that holds our head underwater! We will persevere, not as grip based drivers flowing smoothly with the racing line, but as the traction-fighting-rubber-slingin'-sideways-slidin drivers that we are! Can i get an amen!?

What's that? Couldn't quite hear you back there behind me...:odd:

It's so nice not to have the team depending on me and just learning this beast at my own pace. :P

I'm done for the night, it's just not quite there. I made some slight tweaks to my settings, but anything drastic and the times add up : /

I really feel pressure...because today or maybe tomorrow (if I'm lucky) is the last possibility to made a good time....haha
and there is sooo much to improve..

Two hour session on my day off and really got dialled in t1 I'm really happy where I am hitting 0.6s & 0.7
T2 is close to where I need it to be thou still making mistakes on the sharp right hander with to much oversteer on exit.
T3 I'm pretty happy with feel I'm on the limit and can't really gain much more there

T1 40.673
T2 1:31.012
