Really need to tidy up S2, was a bit hesitant on the gas out of Malmedy, and tires went into the outside of Bruxelles. Quite satisfied with my progress so far.

So close. I chickened out on Blanchimont trying to play safe but still beat my old PB by 3 tenths at the line. This one I know I can do a lot better in. If I can find just the right rhythm through Pouhon I think I can find at least a tenth there.

Nice splits @Dragonwhisky. 👍

I'm not sure I can keep up with fast company like yourself but I'm always up for friendly competition and the occasional taunt.
While I don't consider myself fast, as the first several TTs I ran in WRS show, this particular TT is so far in my wheelhouse. The real responsible party however is @Meister Fetz . If not for his tuning wizardry, and generosity, my results would be commensurate with my skill.

As for taunts, it wasn't meant as such. It just seems, in the last few weeks anyway, your one of the names I see kicking mine down the board, sometimes by a little, sometimes by a lot. Either way, that remark was just meant as a "your turn to jump" type of thing.

Now, that Phish taunt however, was definitely meant as a taunt. He's had some experience with my affair with de Spa. Admittedly, I think it was early in his online career and he didn't have near as much seat time as he does now. It was also in a car that had a lot of power. Just can't let the kid get too big a head though. Not sure if he's started shaving yet. :P :mischievous:

Lol Ive had no time to do this weeks TT since wednesday and The earliest im going to get is Sunday night and monday afternoon. So the splits i have on the board are likely what ill be submitting with unless i can get a faster lap which is likely as well as there is A Lot of time to be made up in T2, Just gotta have the time to do it.

I knew you would be up there this week dragon knowing you and Spa. :D

Looking at everyone else, I might try going for higher DF settings, currently running 425/450 cause it helps a bit on the Kemmel straight.

Pouhon's my worst enemy so far...that, and I need to stop being a pansy going into Blanchimont.

That's the thing about Spa, it's about compromise...run high downforce and lose time in sectors 1 and 3, run lower downforce and lose time in the middle sector...however, there is more time to be gained overall in cornering speed with high downforce than there is with straight line speed and low downforce. While I'm clearly not a good indicator of speed given my major lack of pace, my advice would be to increase your front downforce to 475-500...I have run the car with high and low downforce settings on the same set-up and the difference on the Kemmel Straight is a couple of car lengths at most whereas the difference in the twisty bits is significantly more

Seasons greetings to everyone.

I've spent two sessions tuning and half a session trying to set a time so far.

Thanks to Bart and Fetz for sharing your tunes, very helpful.

I've butchered the two and I'm starting to put something together to share...

I don't think I've ever tuned in GT6 and so far so bad.. Or is that the festive booze..

Finally found the sections where I was losing time.
Still not the best I can do and one of my slower T1s by over 6tenths

@Dragonwhisky I was not implying that you were taunting me and I took your original message just as an invitation to engage in some friendly competition. I was trying to let you know I'm happy to do that and I'm not opposed (or offended) if some good spirted "banter" is included.

No worries, were all good!

Hi too you all , thought I would give this a go , and thought i did a decent run , just untill i uploaded my replay and got told , "wrong track" (drove on the normal spa) , great start :) but "lucky" me , it just motivated me too take off 0.7 sec when i tryid the "right" track :) but there are some pretty fast guys in here I can see , which is great too see :)

Edit: Forgot to put the tune tweaks again. The lap was a PB in the first 2 sectors and fractionally off my PB in the final sector..there's more time there but I have no consistency. Anyway, I used Fetz's tune and applied the following tweaks:

RH: 70/65
ARB: 5/7
B/B: 3/5
DF: 500/450
