Ok I re-bought the car and got in one very lucky lap lol. Here are my new splits.
T1- 23.011
T2- 58.474

Mostly a T3 improvement, those last 2 corners are still killing me thou.
 
Incredibly frustrating session:
T1: 22.704
T2: 57.971

Had a couple of 57.5 and 57.6 T2's but I find it incredibly difficult to not spin the car.

Still feels like I'm going slow around the track.

Getting better and better... 0.250~ faster lap time.

Jumped in the seat for another stint and ended up being faster after 4 laps. I wont complain about that.

Really need to find some time in sector 2 and 3.
Managed to bin a 22.6 T1 and in the same lap a 57.xxx T2.
Frustrated and elated... Frustrated at this combo. Elated at my new Wheelstand Pro which is phenominal!

some reason i thought i was miles off everyone pace in the second sector with a 58.066 but having reviewed peoples times i'm quite happy with that as i had a slide halfway through that sector, and my 22.773 surprised me too, after only 15 laps total - back on it now, got 7 hours till i need to get ready for work so i'd say a good 5 hours practice and 2 hours sleep will do!

EDIT: little more practice and my T2 time is going up but my lap time is coming down............

Heh, it's challenging but I'm enjoying this combo. Gonna try to improve my T2 though.

I can't pair up my T1's and T2's, well they are paired up just heading in the wrong direction.... up. my T1 and T2 times keep getting worse while my finish time has dropped about half a second.
 
New splits after many hours practising last week.
Tiny bit slower in the first,but 0.3 faster overall.

Only marginally quicker T1 and T2 but 0.9 at the line.

are there any threads where people are revealing their total lap times yet or is every one keeping them under wraps until the last minute, would be nice to see how my third sector is comparing as i'm not sure if its strong or weak.

We have to wait until the deadline to see everyone's total lap times publicly when the results are posted. Of course, you can discuss them privately with other members who are willing to.

I just had ago at this, It took me 3 hours to get about 5 clean laps , It's difficult for me to not spin the car lol. Still getting used to not using assists and a steering wheel, It's fun though

@LJ keep it in 3rd going around the corners and if you must shift down to 2nd once you straighten out. Remember to be kind to the throttle with gradual input's, be sure to not just hammer it as this car will make you pay. If needed just feather the throttle to keep your tires from going into an all out spin. Hope this help's

+1 👍 Good advice, I keep spinning in too low a gear (2nd in this case) if you need to stay on track reliably then this is the easiest way to do it. It does lose you a tadbit of time though is my only problem with it

My advice is ignore 2nd altogether, 3rd will suffice in every bend on this course, it has enough power 👍
 
If punters were forced to drive this car on S2's, I'm pretty sure we would see a lot less of them around!

thanks,I watched a replay from one of the top ten guys and he was taking the corners in 3rd, so I was doing that but I think i must have been going at much slower speeds than him because i could hardly accelerate:)
I have been getting a fair few clean (but very conservative) laps in now,getting more of a feel for the car than I usually do but I have to be so careful with the throttle.
i have been changing the force feedback aswell but I cant decide if it is easier with higher resistance or default

I can't help or comment here as I have never raced with any wheel and would hate to just be talking without experience. Maybe another GTPer could help ouy here.
