A bit late to the party here. Went to play on Weds and my wheel was gone, no power getting to the wheel housing. Tried my best to take it apart and look for loose connections but to no avail, gutted as it was only just over 3 years old :(

Luckily my wife is amazing and ordered me a brand new t300rs (I think to stop my moaning) which turned up on Friday so have hooked it up to my nice t500 pedals and shifter and am back in the game :D

Still getting used to the slight differences and on decorating duty this week so limited wheel time but did manage to post these in a quick session:

22.583
26.891

23.207
27.235

Managed to take some time off from my previous best lap. Damn replays being dodgy, though, as the final time is visible for such a short time even though I did two more laps after this...

Starting to reach the point where "I'm not satisfied, I need few more laps" is turning into "I ****ing hate this". :D

22.527
26.597

I had a long session last night with no improvement, later realising I can now play with settings more reliably, as previously I was improving every session. I decided to recreate a ghost of my previous best, but in doing so, even beat my previous optimum, my new optimum is still 0.1 less than this time.

Just did a 75 lap session and not a single new PB sector time came of it but I did take the time to get a picture of my livery this week.

Submitted with current splits (but will keep trying its such a fun combo). Good Luck to all 👍

22.571

Marginal improvement. Not sure what is happening with S1...must be driving with the handbrake on as I don’t often see better here. Keeping it in 4th for T5 has helped. Thanks again for the tip @BigDawg_1281. Have seen a 26.0xx for this sector but threw it away :irked:. Not sure I’ll get another go at this but would like to tie some of the better sectors together.

Beat my time Barely, left 1.50 in final sector

22.150
25.682

Hope I get another run before the deadline, I actually think if I can get that last tenth or so in the final sector I would make my possible optimal time

Very fun combo, even more enjoyable now that I have found some speed in this new view :D

Didn’t even beat my time by half a tenth tonight, I was hitting 22.0s in the first sector but couldn’t string it together. Every time I ran a decent first and second sector I screwed up the final turn, just like I managed to do on my last run

Very tough to string it all together but addictive at the same time.

Monday night if I get time will be my last attempt before the deadline, hopefully my match in the evening finishes early enough so I can put a decent stint in

I know @Argon has posted about this. I just want to piggy back.

If you have been thinking about it or unsure. Join the WRS online races. We had a great turn out today! You will have loads of fun. You will be amongst the cleanist racers in GTS, I promise! Try it once, you will be hooked!

Hope to see you all on track soon :gtpflag:

No improvement today, think I will have to accept I’m not getting a faster lap. I’ve seen low 22’s in T1 & occasionally mid 58’s at the T2 marker, but as usual it never happens on a clean hot lap.

After 900 miles it’s starting to shift from fun to frustrating trying to beat the fastest lap ghost especially when I know I can do it. Probably quite unfairly I have started to take it out on the track marshals when things go wrong so I know it’s time to move on before I get a lifetime ban from Willow Springs

Had my last session, with only improvement to my optimal lap.

250 km total and .35 from optimal. I'm not consistent on last and first sector, so couldn't string it together. A bit of a surprise as I'd assume second sector would be the killer for me.

Pretty happy with my time anyway :)
