I don't think so, as Jerome posted.
An used DS2 can be cheaper too.
@nursemorph , I wasn't aware about your physical condition, I hope you get well soon.
Dual Shock is a good piece of hardware but it's not very friendly with our hands for long sessions, anyway, X, O, triangle and square buttons of the DS2 are made of soft plastic if I remember well.
One of the benefits of a sreering wheel is that your fingers and hands won't get hurt anymore, as for your back, there are very comfortable cockpits in the market, or wheel adapters to be used when sitting on a couch, it all depends on your budget and available room though.
Thanks....it's been something I have suffered for some time, and after 3 surgeries I am worse than before. I used to be able to use the DS2 for 10-12 hours straight without it causing issues with my hands, so it may be better than the DS3...I think half the problem is the short grips on the DS3 makes you hold it slightly tighter to keep a good grip.
As for the steering wheel, yeah, I just can't sit for longer than 20 minutes at a time before needing to lay down for an hour, regardless of how comfortable my seat is (even in my recliner with a gel cushion, I can still sit for only short periods)...and then there would be using the pedals as well. Space-wise, I am a bit limited due to my double bed being in my living room . If, one day, my surgeon or someone works out what is wrong with my back and sorts it, then one of the first things I will get (after the obligatory bottle of wine of course ) is a wheel and pedals.
