GTP_WRS Week 11 : Vorsprung durch Picknick

I'm having the same problems.. I'm finding it impossible to get the same line each lap.. as the car is so unpredictable.. my lap time are varying wildly.. my fastest laps.. seem to have slower T 1&2 times.. so frustrating.. oh well keep trying.. I'm running ABS 2 with 0 TCS

Yeah, it's tough. I have just run a session with TCS 3 and ABS 10 and improved by 5 tenths (discounting my earlier experiment). Finally got a sub 30 S2 and have seen a .1 at the S2 split. Will try reducing the TCS further but I am happy with it at 3 (I am disadvantaged enough as it is ):

Yeah.. I really enjoy having a battle with @nursemorph .. nothing like healthy team rivalry..

I just saw a sub 26. at t1.. have yet to make sure it's clean..

Edit: just realized how old i was.. i learned those terms playing with professional korean gamers. Doodle was around 1 year old.

This brought to my mind a documentary film I watched 3 or 4 days ago, it's "Free to Play", way better than KAZ: Pushing The Virtual Divide, I prefer gamers' life much more than a personal documentary about the creator of the GT series (even bearing in mind that I love cars), around 10 years ago I had a silly thought that in the future there would be parallel lifes between real racing and virtual racing being these virtual racers paid by their work, now I begin to think that thought wasn't so silly.

Those 5 tenths are bread for today and famine for tomorrow (I don't know if this is properly translated to english), if you want to be better at this, and I bet you will, switch off the TCS and keep the ABS to 1, likely you'll be slower at the beginning but you'll be faster in the long term, your skills will improve faster than using TCS3 and ABS10 and later reducing them, don't fool yourself and let your brain and body do the rest, you'll be amazed what they can do if you give them some practice.

@eclipsee : As long as I am limited to the use of a DS3 with the x/[] buttons and auto transmission, my skills aren't going to improve significantly anyway. But, I guess using TCS and ABS may give me times faster than those not using them which could be considered unfair (whether these aids are optional or not) to those not using them, so I will go back to having them as you suggest (TCS 0 and ABS 1)...I'm not going to get any faster with them but at least I will know my true level:
