- Nice control for a DS3. You used the brakes quite a few times when not required which cost you alot of momentum and therefore time. This car was at its best under acceleration and could carry alot of corner speed with a bit of constant throttle. Clean lap though and as I said, tidy for a DS3 lap. 👍

Cheers mate 👍

Tried to find Vegabond's U tube postings anyone have information on address or ID on u tube?

- Very tidy lap. 👍 Hesitant in T1, as I think alot of peope were.... as I said earlier, it was surprising how much speed it was possible to carry through here with correct throttle control and small steering inputs. You lost quite a bit of time in the first two turns in T2 by not using all the track. For the first right hander staying far left and using the grass gave best entry, with a slightly late apex... then back over to the right as soon as possible for a smooth line through the fast left hander. You lost alot of speed at that left hander which costs you all the way to the braking point for the loop. I think my apex speed for the left hander was about 66mph and I was picking up full throttle on or just before the apex. A bit of a rear slide cost you time in T3 but other than that it was smooth. :)

:P Haha, thanks mate. I accept no responsibility for keyboard damage though. :sly:

Thing is... I was well happy with that lap altogether but could still see where I may have been able to pick up fractions here and there.... My best T1 was 27.393 for instance... and I know I lost about 0.1 at the loop in T2 by letting it run out too wide... maybe another 0.05 in T3, although sewing that together becomes increasingly difficult, if not impossible. Then I look at Zoky and Ramon's times and have no idea at all how they go that fast... no idea at all.

Thanks for posting your vid, Chris! Always good to see where I can improve at!

Specs correct and clean run!

Improved splits using 6/7 bb

28.442
49.107
38.226
27.661
48.440

28.495

Little bits here and there can be slashed off, but I had a solid run home after T9.

Oops! I believe you mean this for the week 14 combo! :)

Congratulations to all who participate on another great week!

Special word to the "aliens" - the secret nitro button is working really well :sly:

My mates on D2 - red, chris (a pleasure to see your lap) and mav who are on another league.

Also to Peter, what a great win on the "true" D2 divison :dopey: and to Chuk, that gives a meaning to commitement with D1 pace

Not a good week to me, couldn´t tie my best splits together, far from it :banghead: really a bit dissapointed :ill:

(sorry if not well written)

I'll get to it shortly Rutter :) Just checking a few now... Ramon, yours won't import for some reason... anyone else tried it? (GTP_eclipsi)

I second this , you get up to 33% at importing before the game tells that the replay file is corrupted.

You lost the most time in T3 - braking through the chicane at the start of T3 cost you exit speed from the next right hander and you carried that loss to the line... probably about 0.3 just from that.
This is a problem in my head I need to overcome, I see myself up at the final split and go all conservative, i guess wanting to ensure I don't mess it up. Was quite regular with 20.2xx there but like you mention, pressed the brake (which usually I don't) just to get the lap in. Perhaps I need the 'win it or bin it' attitude instead ;)

You're going to be a force to be reckoned with soon I think mate. 👍
'Learn alot still have to I. Hope to Podium step up soon will I. Hmmm, Yess.' :sly: (Won't insult you're intelligence this time, sure you understand)

Yes, I am quite fast to eat the grass, I can see those 3 floating in the beam. Perhaps the hatch will open next week for them when the promotions come out. 👍

Chuck really is the fast improver at the moment, smashed me heaps of times in the last few weeks. Top job, but I have to fight back, new sign up 'Stay off the grass'! But I raise my glass of grass to you

Congratulations to all Podium place getters!
Some very fast times in there, TIGHT at the top too!!
My Replay incoming tonight.
Cheers All !!!

Hmmm... you must train yourself to let go of everything you fear to lose. :P

Fear leads to angles, angles lead to brakes, brakes lead to wheel-lockings.

Oh that's classic Chris, I can see the lotus sinking in the swamp and you throwing crap out of my boot into it ;)

I've said it before and I'll say it again . . .

The force is strong with this one!

new sign up 'Stay off the grass'!

My mother has been saying that for years!! :sly:

I raise my glass to you, Sid (or Peter)!

This week was fun for me, as I love this track. I don't care what car it is. :)

Here's my replay, but I also raise my glass to WRS, both admins and participants!!

A few more beers, have some more grass, and I'm on to Germany!!

Racing On!

Well done to all the Winners and Podium placers once again.

There were some very fast times out there this week and once again I am left speechless at Zoky's and Eclipsi's times, awesome job guys.👍

I've zipped again the file, let's see if it works now.

Thanks for pointing out that Vagavond. 👍

Here's my replay ...

- I don't know what I expected to see but was surprised how similar your replay looks to mine, you just do everything slightly quicker and more accurately. Looks are deceiving though and that accuracy very quickly adds up to a large chunk of time. Inspiring, thanks mate. 👍

Chris, thanks for checking. 👍

A difference of 5 tenths isn't easy to see in a replay, I would compare both replays with the data logger, I think you'll find there what you're looking for.

No worries - it was a pleasure to watch.

I had a good long look at the data logger to compare. I realise this is redundant info for you Ramon but for the benefit of anyone who may be interested as to why you are so much faster - you are basically on full throttle a fraction earlier than me out of every corner. In most of them you are off the throttle a fraction later too. You also managed to carry full throttle through the last right hander in T1. :scared: My braking trace is very similar to yours but the accelerator trace is quite something.... that total confidence to keep the car balance enough to get on full throttle so early is marvelous mate. 👍

I have a lawn that needs a trim too Chris. 👍

Phillip.
 As long as I can do in the Lotus you've got a deal 👍

My replay for this week. Happy to be second again, this time to Chuk instead of Millross!!! Great lap Chuk 👍

I know I gave away a tenth at the end of T2 with some questionable throttle control, but the whole week I struggled to get consistent and accurate in T1 - only went under 28s three times and this was the best.

I've now switched to a G27 for the 'ring, so hopefully I'll be more competitive and try and get a D3 win

Thank you, Carlos. 👍
By the way, I see my file size is too big, so I suspect I submitted either a game save or wrong replay. I'm checking into that now, but if anybody knows what that is, feel free to let me know.
