I'm still figuring out the fastest way around this track. There are bunch of turns where I'm not sure if it's worth to cut them. For example the high speed right after T2. It might be better to go faster and sacrifice entry angle for the next tight left. Data logger will be great help here.
Here you go, found a video of Twissy running a time trial on this track. I would imagine the lines he takes are the fastest way around.

Thanks! That looks just like my lap only way faster :)
I think I see where I'm losing time in T1.

3rd sector clearly faster but just a comparison with start/stop speed would tell there's room for improvement. Kept overdriving in check better the first two.

14,850
30,933 (this lap was faster at T2 too though, less rounding)

Getting close to my maximum already...

14.833
30.783

And over a second at the line.

New splits. I can't really drive two laps the same way in London :irked:
Left 2 tenths at least but couldn't tell car from wall at the replay so will keep trying
14.916
30.716

Oh for the humanity

Updated split times (not from this lap however)

15.081
31.298

First splits after a quick 20 mins

14.862
31.045

Fun combo as expected , but loads of time to gain

Good luck all and especially fellow D3ers

a little improvement at t2 and .6 at the line

a still need to get t2 better

14.845
30.861

Don't pay attention to the writing on the tarmac in the last turn or you will not have a good T3 :lol:I have run lots of laps here and never noticed that before. I am guessing in real life that is for pedestrians.

That it is, but PD got the directions reversed. The "look left" markings should be on the other side of the street.

Here's the closest Google Maps Street View gets to that pic.

They got one of those right (headed in Trafalgar Square, just past Barclays).

A further 20 laps yields not much faster splits, but a decent improving overall for day 1. cannot work out the last sector on this one. Tomorrow will do some tweaking with brakes and torque dist. to get something more competitive up there.
Looking forward to tackling this further.

14.670

Still can't figure that one out. Sometimes the car turns sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes I hardly notice the curb, sometimes it flips the car.
I suspect the answer is in the weight transfer and also how far to the left I cen get for the entry.

I suck at this track.

14.648
30.631

I'm finding hundredths instead of tenths.
Going through the data logger I can see that there is another half of a second I should be able to get.

Edit: But I got a 14.544 T1 so there might be hope :)
