Nice splits Baron 👍 Hope i can match that :nervous:

Well, that didn't take long.

I might have to throw the reinforcement on and see what happens. I can't seem to get below the mid 4's in t1.

Sorry for the double post, but I can't seem to edit my other one without my cursor misbehaving. I thoughtit was fixed but apparently not.

The car definitely drives better with the chassis reinforcement installed.

Had some 3's in t1 and a 1 in t2.

Nice splits guys. I didn't think I'd get mind bogglingly quick splits in such a short amount of time. Keep on pushing guys!

Broke in a new car (all those credits would have been wasted pretty soon, anyway) so I could compare with and without chassis reinforcement. Tried for some time last night but couldn't improve, but I did just now.

Between 0.4 and 0.5s at the line. That's with Kevin's new tune, also. Now I'll try Baron's most recent one and eventually go back to the other car, w/o ch. reinf., and see if I can feel a difference.

It actually took me a while. I started this event last sunday and have already some millage on the car. But the time between that post and my splits, suggests otherwise

Nice new splits, that's close enough :sly:

Fugly lap but probably the best line I've had yet. Exit back onto the front straight was horrific and probably cost me a huge chunk of time. Resetting the bar for another 3 tenths I think.

Family is finally healthy again other than me still having odd migraines and my son needing to see a specialist. I will try to run some laps tomorrow, I figured there would be much more people running the last WRS TT of GT5.

I'll give this combo a try as GT5 farewell, nice combo BTW 👍 , I'm looking forward to GT6.

You don't need to buy another car to compare cars with / without chassis reinforcement.

Save your game data to a USB pen, buy the chassis reinforcement, test the car, if you don't like it, quit GT5 and load your game data, you'll have there again your car without chassis reinforcement.

I did think about that possibility @eclipsee (Ramón, right?), but I figured it was less hassle switching between cars than switching between save games. It will probably take me a few switches before making up my mind, too... I'm not always sensitive to that kind of thing.

Cheers Jon! Legend! :)

I did 4 laps....

59.189

If I don't get another go, I'll submit these! Cheers all

@Argon - I tried with SRF on on the seasonal, it just gives you license to throw it about though and I end up in the walls.....still didn't win.....

I ahve to admit your T2 is pretty amazing! Did you use 3rd or 2nd for the exit of Spoon?

@Stotty - I'm guessing maybe a drop to second for turn-in and 3rd for exit @ Spoon. That's what "feels best" for me anyway.
I took the car to the drag strip, and despite the power band graph, it doesn't seem to benefit much from over-revving it.

Always good to have 2.
I have to say though, the second I put the chassis on one, I haven't thought of switching back.

Looks like a very fitting send off for GT5 👍 I think I should find some time to put some laps together considering the deadline, good to see some old friends taking part too

Will just go check if I have the car and if I aint! I will steal one from someone's share :P
Looking forward to the next installment of WRS and GT 👍

I'll use second for the last part of Spoon too. Shifting back to second at the last moment to turn the car in and sometimes i stay in second for the exit, depends on the quality of the exit so to speak. Just like turn 1 i'll do the same there. You have to be as smooth as silk with this car.

Why aren't my times posted on the board? They look to me as being of a good format. Maybe I'm just too slow and Fetchy doesn't like me!!!! :yuck:

Good to see and old friend here :)

I'm having trouble getting it to work as well. I've tried editing your posts with strike throughs and different formats for the times. In theory, it should accept either, but I believe the over 1 minute times should be in the x'xx.xxx format, by default.

Can you please try using that format (x'xx.xxx) and make a new post with the times? It might be that Fetchy does not want to go looking for splits in an old post that he did not see them in to begin with.

If we can't make that work, I will add your times manually, but I wanted to try and make the automated work before going down that path, otherwise we'll probably have to keep updating your splits manually as well.

This is driving me crazy. I had a .260 T1 and several 1s in t2 and keep throwing them away at Casio.

Yep, Ramon is my first name.

Sure, switching between cars is easier if you want to spend those credits. 👍

Nice to see some old school mates too :D

Slight improvement. Tried different tune combos and not a lot of difference, but Kev's feels pretty comfortable so I'll stick with that for now. Still room for improvement especially in T2, but probably won't have much more time with this as I'm going out of town tomorrow for the week

Now let's see if you can knock me off the top spot. :sly:

You will do it. You're insanely fast.

I did just that on my original post, but that didn't work so I changed it to the 60 second format!
