GTP_WRS Week 19 : Official Results

All good Kristoph - if I might offer some thoughts, you need to use more of the track on the way into the bend (all the way over before turn in), and your apex speeds were a little low in places which I think more time on those tyres would have sorted out. Stay off the curbs in the last two rights in T2 as I found they tended to unsettle the car too much. This car accelerated so fast that any hesitancy in getting on the throttle lost tenths very easily. All in all a nice solid lap and great to watch 👍

Thanks for checking and for the good advice Carlos.

I wasn't planning on getting on the curbs but I turned in too soon and it was the best time I had :)

Pretty smooth and clean. Like Carlos said above those curbs in T2 probably only unsettled the car without really gaining anything. I also think you short-shifted a few times when you didn't really need to, but it didn't cost you much.

Here is my PAL replay.

I will put my hand up and red flag myself as i made a mistake in posting my time. I ran quicker in my replay than the time posted and I know that the rules state that they must match.
I am happy with my progress and am loving the racing series and pitching up against some great drivers. Also the help from other racing is much appriciated. Look forward to many future battles.

Cheers All

For those of us that can't view, what was your time?

Thanks poolhaas for checking my replay.

Hang on, am I correct in green flagging the replay? The time he submitted was 1:19.994 (which was obviously a typo) and he actually did (as I guessed) 1:11.994. The lap is clean. I made a similar mistake a few weeks back where I submitted my split instead of lap time.

I know the feeling, Iddledoo!.

I submitted a wrong time back in week 2 and wasn't able to correct it, thus eliminating me completely from participating that week.

A lesson in learning for me. :ouch:

We've discussed it with the team, and since it's a one-digit typo, backed with a valid replay from a valid date we've decided to green flag it. But please double check the time in the future :)

Good to see, I know my first submission was a second slow, and it was corrected for me, it's good to see everybody get one.
Just one though. ;)

Thank you to all that have helped me. It is very much appreciated. I will be more vigilant in the future. Again Thank you.

Hi guys. Sorry for no replay yet. Had to get up and go out of town for a few days on VERY short notice. Wont be able to get anywhere near the PS until the weekend so I told Joost via PM he may remove me from the results.

Sorry for holding it up for so long :ouch:

Hope everything is ok Brandon, look forward to seeing you back soon. 👍

Phillip.

Thanks for the heads up Brandon,

We'll wait for the weekend so you can post your replay.

It would be great if you could post the replay before the next deadline, monday 11th.

Then we can make these results official (which updates everybodies handicap) before publishing the results of the next week.

I'll have it posted as soon as I walk in 👍

Very sorry once again guys.

Hi CT,

Just a quick reminder that you still need to post the replay.

If it's not posted and checked before 24:00 tonight I have no choice but to gray flag you...

Joost

Here is my replay guys. I'm very very sorry for the delay. Will not happen again. Things just came up all at once that I could not ignore.

I see CT's replay has had 1 view - apart from that one person who may ninja me, I am about to verify it....

EDIT

Im gonna be so bold as to say that CT's lap is CLEAN, but there is one moment which is stupendously close - however at that point, the car is accelerating, it continues accelerating and there is no sound. It's very very close indeed, but for me, it's gotta get a thumbs up. For reference - it's at the run up to the end of T2, left-side wall/armco

Perhaps an admin can help out here and double-check my checking - I think the lap is good - and boy is it a good lap. Caution thrown to the wind, very very fast indeed. Well done :)

Thanks for checking Millross. That corner gave me great pains through the week, could never really get it how I wanted to. I did check the replay quite a few times to make sure there was no contact.
