I hope my exit from 2nd chicane is good. I think it's good but lap controllers will check this.

For moderators: In leaderboard table there is a mistake with GTP_LittlePaul split 1 time. It should be 27.567 and not 24.567.
 
Had a lot of fun for the last hour in the FXX and improved well on my time.

Will repost them

Was on #95 on the leaderboard but this is good for me.
Still got some time wasted in the first 2 chicanes.

It just seemed to click today. I took nearly three full seconds off my lap time. I even saw a couple of 27.1xx in the first sector but couldn't tie an entire lap together. Several times I was ahead of my ghost only to be passed on the long straight going into the parabolica. Just couldn't quite replicate that last section. Overall though very pleased with my progress today.
 
Submitted with the splits in the board. I know there is a small room for improvement in the second sector but I'm not able to top my third.
 
Really started to get frustrated on this one, as I knew that there are tenths to be found if only I had the consistency. Apart from those tenths, I have no idea how the quick guys can shave off another second!Then as I did some frustrating laps trying to catch the tenths that I knew where out there, suddenly the pieces fell together and I once again managed to improve my lap, and this time I was satisfied with it!

I think I have done the first sector even faster, but the second sector may well have been my best so far. I had a huge lead in front of my ghost down the back straight, but my Parabolica wasn't obviously the fastest and I lost a bit, still well ahead of my ghost though.

Also noticed that I was quite conservative with regards to track boundaries this time compared to my previous fastest lap. No need for photo mode verifying on this one. But that is probably one of the reasons I lose out to the faster guys.

It may very well be that this is my final time. Starting to have had enough of this.

Thanks Deton, I've submitted with slightly slower ssplits but it's a shame I could not string together my best sectors, also had a lap one whole tenth faster but one tyre was about one centimeter away from the rumbles :banghead:

But must say this week has been fun and good luck to all.
Can you post those slower splits so the T3 table will be accurate when I post it in the results thread?

@LittlePaul78 : Can you fix your T1 typo by posting the correct splits?

@RoeszaGT : Can you fix your T2 typo by reposting? After the 1 you can use a ' or a :, it looks like you used some kind of other quote character.

Almost a quarter of a second off my previous best at the second split. I am struggling a lot with the Lesmos. My previous ghosts slide quite a lot through both Lesmos. Since the break early - keep it nice and tidy through the corner - quick exit out on the straight - approach seems to be the way to go, I have been trying to get rid of the sliding in order to get a better exit onto the straight. This is extremely hard though, as I have to brake earlier than my ghost which leaves me behind, and even though I keep a nice line I am still way behind my ghost out on the straight, as I have to accelerate from a much lower speed.

This is something I've been battling with as well, the so called right approach for the Lesmos especially. I've seen a couple people say that the fastest way is most likely to brake early, and get nice, clean corners.

But I'm still in a bit of a doubt about that since on my best T2 (by far), I sort of accidentally slided through the second Lesmo, as the rear left tyre was slightly on the grass when I started braking for the corner. But accidents like that are hard to repeat. Still, it has been nearly impossible to get in front of that ghost with an early brake, smooth cornering style.

On the last WRS my approach was too aggressive, and I tried to slide the car everywhere, but in the end it prove to not be the most optimal way to go through the track. Now on this WRS, where the car is very different, I've actually started to think that maybe I'm being too careful, and a more aggressive driving would be needed here. I guess we'll see the proper way around the track soon enough, via the replays of the top guys.
 
A fantastic combo, 👍 I wish I could have given it more time. I ran a shakedown this morning and then a second session after deciding it was to good not to have another go on. :)

I've still to achieve my week 1 aim of gaining my platinum trophy for picking up the Autobahn achievement; here's hoping for next week!

I was waiting for a message to say my qualifier was verified and i got placed into a div, but it never came. So I login to realize it had been posted many days ago! So here is what I could come up with before superbowl festivities start up tonight.

anytime I could nail the chicanes, I would blow it all on the parabolica since I absolutely hate these tires on this car. Probably wont be partaking in the online race with this setup, since I'll probably ruin someones day getting trigger happy in 3rd gear coming out of the parabolica.

else, it was fun! Interesting to see where my final placement is since there's alot of time to be had/wasted in T3 pretty easily.

Do you all post your best splits of your best lap or do you post your best splits overall?
I think the idea is you post the splits from the best lap, or the lap you have submitted or plan to submit. So if you get a worse T1 and T2, but you nailed T3 and it was a better lap, you should post the worse T1 and T2

I did exactly what you sayd, lost a tenth in both T1 & T2 but got everything wright in T3
Tried to improve the first 2 sectors again but failed to do so, was pushing to hard.
But i do know what is possible for me.
