GTP_WRS Week 2 : FXXza Irresistibile!

Just noticed the arcade driven miles aren't added... Sweating for an hour and 0 miles driven, so much for my oil change.

Not sure if I understood this wrong, but at least my FXX is getting more miles on this WRS. I bought the car solely for this and haven't driven it anywhere else, 140 miles so far and rising.

Maybe you bought a FXX with a faulty odometer. :D

Fetchy has rejected a submission due to PSN not being the same as my name.
Does anyone know if this is a 1.04 issue?
The lap was done on 1.04
A previous lap submission on 1.03 was accepted
Please accept my new lap fetchy

I still hate this car though :)

Geesh, wish I hated it as much as you do, maybe I'd be faster, then! =op

Around 0.7s at the line. Did you feel that on your rear bumper, Al?

Still waiting for Logitech to send me that prepaid UPS shipping label... I'm in no hurry though, and hoping we get a boring TT next week :sly: Feels strange having my wheel becoming off-center on the opposite side from last week, though...

When it comes to submission time, do we have to be on 1.04? I'm assuming yes.

If so, does anyone know a way to manually update the game? It's nearly impossible to get the PS3 online at school...

Holy Crap!!! A rear wheel drive car??? I thought we were just doing 4x4 races for GT6.

But seriously, I'm eager to give this EXPENSIVE beast a go on one of my favorite tracks. :D

Thread title changed, added Submissions CLOSED until Thursday.

Fetchy will most likely reject any replays sent in the next day or so. The replay checker needs a couple updates, then we'll re-open.

Sorry for the inconvenience. :D

Feel free to continue posting splits, but the new batch of guys may have a delay on that still, as well.

Finally beat my previous ghost...by a whopping 0.1 :indiff:

I can see about 0.5 more seconds for me but putting it all together is like threading a needle while on a roller coaster

At least this week's combo gave me the patience and car control to go and Gold that AMG Seasonal event around Bathurst 👍

I guess so, my time hasn't posted yet.

I'll repost just incase it needs reminding.

I didn't finish last in W1, but I feel I will this week.

I just can seem to get the tires to grip, even at extremely low speeds. Will still give it a few more runs though, will probably crank up TCS and see if that helps.

When I drive in arcade mode no mileage are added to the car. Are you certain that you are not driving in the free run mode from the garage?

Now that's interesting.

I've gone through the arcade mode menu about a million times (last week WRS), I'm starting to know my way around, so I can assure you, I'm most certainly driving the ferrari in the arcade mode as well. Also I've already saved multiple replays of my monza TT attempts, to use them as learning material, and all of those replays say "Arcade Time Trial" in the gallery menu, had to check just to be sure.

Since track mileage gets added in arcade mode too (Apricot Hill wouldn't be my most driven track with about 3000 miles if this wasn't the case), I don't see why car mileage wouldn't. Maybe there's a glitch?

Lots of room for improvement but seeing as me and this car aren't getting on too well, have to creep around the track just to get a clean lap - if I can get the chicane braking points sorted I should improve a bit - but that's a big IF :P

Sounds like me. I just lack pace in sector 2. The chicanes before lesmo is my trouble spot.

One thing I noticed with the chicanes, especially the one before Lesmos, was that I was always turning a bit too late for a good line through the corner. So one tip (even) I can give, is to try to turn in a bit earlier than you'd expect, at least for me it helped to shave some tenths off on the chicanes. You can also carefully trail brake into them to sort of shorten the initial braking distance.

Try going to do an oil change, it tells you the mileage at bottom of screen

Not sure if I've been misleading people with my poor english, but I tried to say that I do get more miles added to my FXX, even in the arcade mode, because a couple other people said that they don't.

Oil change is the place where I've checked the mileage, it says 150,5 miles atm. And I've only used the car in the arcade mode. I'm starting to repeat myself too often.

Almost eat my tongue when i read the title, then i read it properly. :dopey: Guess splits are still ok.

Slowly improving, but still sucking at this combo(think I got the assist setting right though).

I don't think it's a bug. To me it makes perfectly sense that arcade mode doesn't wear your cars down, and you at the same time in your stats can see how far you have driven in total. But maybe that's just me. ;)

And just for the record. I have just double checked the mileage on my FXX both in garage and in the pit service. I got a nice round 0.0 both places even though I have driven 2 sessions... and I always save before I quit.

@NielsG maybe it's me who's having a bug with the mileage, as it just keeps adding up.

Anyways, new splits with slightly better T2:

Been a bit too careful on T1, so haven't gotten really close to my previous .3xx on that one, but I'm starting to get bolder with the gas on the exits on second sector.
