Just began ... its a great car, even more for me, not fan of F1 and above. Only tried Praiano tune and the car is very good to control, just need to set a different 5th or final (???). With default settings it goes 355 Kph :dopey: but with praianos just 335 before the very first chicane.

Re Wheel lock settings , DFGT is also configurable ;)

If the tune has max aero, you will not get the same speed. There are a few tunes posted with aero settings. i am using 1500 1585.
 
T2 and T3 are consistently good now, if only I could get T1 :confused:.

Maximise exit speed from the chicane by sacrificing the entry, get close to the wall then get close to the invalidation point when turning right to have the outside for entry to the second part, straightening the exit. I've invalidated many laps in the chicane and lost a fair few by being too aggressive on the throttle and spinning out of the exit.
 
I was so far ahead of my ghost, that I was pretty conservative in T3 as I did not want to throw these splits away, netted me .15 at the line. Still I am thrilled with my time. Now that I have this time, I can go for it if I am ever so fortunate to come close to these splits again.

Gained .17 at the line with PBs in T1 and T3. I lowered the rear aero to 1583, not sure if it helped or not.

Wow...this is exactly what I've been doing.

Tip of the cap to @praiano63. Shaved 3 seconds off my time.

Also, this was set with ABS 0. Seems much more natural this way. Anyone else running with ABS 0?

You are right, I had default gear racios when topped at 355 ... Thanks for helping :cheers:
Still using Praiano's full tune (df is also 1500/1585, btw) until I stop improving :cool::

About a third lost to personal best T1, which considering how it seems like I'm getting severely diminished returns by now, I can live with. Even though I must have tried it five hundred times. Iow. I'm probably submitting this.
I lose a lot of time unsettling dust in Lesmo 2 though.

... just threw away a 22,050 T1... T2 was not so hot anyway (46,900), but got red lapped in Ascari...
