The reason I said "Mainly Blue and White" was due to the fact that the rumble strips are worn and/or simply white in a few places. Mainly the exits of turns 4 and 10. Rumble strips are track, but I wanted to be sure I distinguished between those and the green bit coming out of the last turn. And I completely despise taking 14,000 pictures for the sake of clarity. No offense lab_rat, but I would like an official ruling on this from @EDK I have had a similar, faster lap and considered it dirty because it didn't adhere to the following:
Tarmac and Rumble Strips (Mainly Blue and White) are Track. No Other surfaces are track. This includes the green astroturf inside the final turn.
The way I see it, the part where his right side tire is there, is neither the tarmac or Blue and White rumble strip.

@Thematic Where the heck on track is that? Ahh, apex of Rainey, turn 9?
I guess another way of saying is that if we are clearly excluding a surface that seems ambiguous (like the green stuff) we will make specific mention of it.I think we need an in-house lawyer to check our Op's for phrasing....![]()
Nothing that we have been able to verify. There was a bug when the game was first released with the width of custom wheels, where the handling would become worse on cars that normally have wider wheels on the back than the front.I've got a question: Does the wheel size affect the driving physics?Just a thought which I had today, because in "real life" it does.
try the GTCC..we have a new B division that is spec for guys like you and me.My two recommendations are the FGTA WGTC, and CORE WEC(links in my sig).

While waiting for WRS entries to reopen, would it be alright if I just pretended I was registered? This combo is quite fun
.
The Division is not as important as getting faster on track for me. It is really embarrassing to be relegated to the back of the pack...sooo gotta work on it allot more and this is really working...especially the discussion between the faster guys ( which right now is most of youThat's bloody fast. Do you want to get kicked out of D4? Because that's how you get kicked out of D4![]()

If I intended to exclude the white bits of the rumble strips, (which seems a bit silly and arbitrary), I would say, "White portions of the rumble strips are not track. See example pictures below". And would take pictures of the afroementioned turns and note where they are under the pics.
But like I said, I despise doing that.![]()
You did not piss me off or question my rules. You asked for clarification on the rules, and I provided it.Sorry. I didn't mean to piss you off or question your rules, I was just looking for some clarity. I'd hate to submit a lap and have it DQ'ed because I didn't clearly understand the boundaries. Like I said, I just considered my lap like that as dirty because I wasn't specifically on the Blue and White rumbles. Again, my apologies, I didn't mean to cause any harm here. Also, I asked specifically for your ruling here because you are the one that make the official rulings here. I've seen members be wrong before in giving out answers like that....I wasn't trying to disrespect @mr_lab_rat in the least.

I'm direct by nature, and that can take people aback, especially when they don't get the tone or expression to go with it.
The advantage is that everyone knows where they stand. The disadvantage is that people take my directness as aggression, which results in misunderstandings like this.![]()
Won't be home till Saturday to see my actual splits, but they went something like:You can post splits if you like, but obviously since you aren't part of the WRS yet, you can't submit a time to fetchy and your splits won't be posted on the leaderboard. You'll like it here. We don't bite.![]()
Alright, my apologies again then for misinterpreting the tone your post.
Isn't that just because you're Canadian?I've been blessed with the opposite personality. I'm a real prick but I hide it well and people generally like me![]()
Mitch, you have a gift. And it's not a good one. You tend to piss people off for no reason
I have another friend like that (besides you). The poor guy never talks his way out of a traffic ticket, retail staff treat him like crap because the assume he is a problem customer, etc ...
Sadly, I don't think there is anything you can do about it. Sometimes people will take the worse of two possible meanings (especially on the internet, where it's difficult to express the right tone).

He just meant that people illegitamately get pissed off in response to some of your posts. EDK said folks respond to him in a similar manner at times. Intent is difficult. I'm a jerk all the time.Wow, alright then. I guess I'll just keep my mouth shut from now on then. I guess its alright when I'm posting tunes and helping people but the minute I question something or someone, I'm a complete ass. Just for the record though, I did say that it was nothing against you, which it wasn't. I just wanted an official ruling and clarification from the person that has the final say. Anyways, I'll refrain from engaging in any conversations as not to inadvertently use my so called gift, I'll just post my splits from now on and that will be it.
