Just a little perspective on everyone's results thus far. By real-world standards this field of GTP drivers in this event are extremely close. We have a field of over 30 drivers within 1 second of each other.

Gaps at HSR are always going to be small as there are only really 4 corners to get right, and only the 2nd and the last are difficult... compared to say suzi where there are something like 15, most of which you can lose or gain lots of time on.

Still, great to see such a big turn out and I hope everyone continues in future weeks.

True, 'dat.

I'm sure London will be a different story.

Knocked a bit more time off.

T1:32.083
T2:54.059

Wanted to break the 32 and 54 sec barriers, not quite managed it. Might have 1 last go tomorrow, would have submitted but just 1 tenth could be worth 5 places.

Submitted with the following splits:

T1: 31.765
T2: 53.522

I've been .1 better at both T1 and T2, but wasn't able to put the final sector together. However, I was able to take over .050 off at the line with these splits, so I'm giving up now  No more chasing hundredths/thousandths for me.

Board update.
Looks like we might even reach postcount 300 this week ... incredible.
Good luck to all in the final stage of this excellent combo.

Well I had one final go with the A.R.S.E tune that was posted earlier in this thread and managed to improve a little, but just couldn't connect all the sectors together on a single lap. My splits are.

T1- 31.802
T2- 53.659

I am about to submit now with these splits.

Sunmitted with the splits from my only session online. (splits on leaderboard)

MadMax

Submitted with leaderboard splits. Was in front once ,but stepped off the ripple strip exiting the final turn and hit the rev topout at 3k's earlier than normal:( must have wheelspun.

I put plenty of laps into this during the week! but over the weekend I have been pretty busy at work so never had a chance to get the .1 I was chasing down over a couple of hundred laps

... anyway I will submit now but have to warn in advance that my best lap could only be saved in a 12 lap session save as I have a slightly faster lap with a touch on the barrier at the end turn, just prior to the lap I am submitting which gave me only one option to save the whole session. The fastest lap with the touch is lap 11 and my submitted lap is lap 12 :(

I did plan to go back and try to beat the lap but never found the time over the weekend as stated ... I don't think I am doing anything illegal by posting a save session as the submitted lap is definitely clean and therefore I am submitting it and leave it in the hands of the powers that be to decide if my replay is acceptable 👍

Good Luck to all taking part this week

Should be not a problem, Ron  ..I'll check the replay if it's acceptable (WRS admins?) 👍

I can't bring myself to do a final session today, so submitted with the splits posted. London calling!

Just put in a final offensive on this very addictive combo. I wasn't really expecting to make an improvement, but everything just clicked tonight. After a short session I not only improvement, but also beat the time I had put as my personal goal.

Needless to say, I'm very happy with my final lap. I hope I finally have a lap time that's worth of div 3.

Splits for the lap I'm submitting:
T1: 31,985
T2: 54,027

See you guys in London!

Nice splits Samantha.
No latte this time I take it.
That t2 puts you at the top of D4 girl, nice going.
Could be a winner, good luck.

Ahhhh, thanks Kenny. :embarrassed:

👍

I managed to find a little at the line, but with slower splits. Im quite happy with my lap.

Submitting with following splits.

32.055
54.087

Sorry for a late entry. Had today a proper session (tried briefly yesterday) and Will submit with splits:

31.704
53.406

Not the optimum lap but those doesn't always happen. :)

I did have a wicked lap with splits

31.661
53.302

but too close to call it clean (last corner).

The I'll post both of the replays just for the sake of it when the time is due.

 GL all. 👍

Submitted a faster lap with these splits:

31.760
53.560

Very entertaining combo Sjaak 👍
It was a surprise for me, because I'm usually bored quickly with HSR and FF cars. However, the number of participants and the red-hot competition has made this a memorable week.

Submitted with splits on the board. Had another session tonight and despite seeing 53.5 and 53.6 at T2 - I still couldn't convert that to a quicker time at the line.

Nice combo this one - popular because it was that much easier to drive me thinks but very entertaining I will agree.

Lets hope we get 40 participants for the Viper around London.....
