More new ones for me tonight, a couple tenths at the line.

20.733
51.033

Seems I forgot to mention the positive rear toe when I posted my tune last night. And now it's creeping even closer to Sutuki's with lower spring rates that seem to help when putting the power down. Put the stuff updated vs. 2.0 in bold.

EDK 2.1 Tune
RH 75/50
Springs 8.38/9.8
Dampers Comp 1/1
Dampers Ext 2/2
ARB 7/7
Camber 0.8/0.0
Toe 0/+0.06
BB 3/4

Trans - Final Far Right, Top Speed Far Left
Set
2670
2173
1790
1463
1201
1024
Final = 3300

LSD 8/20/5

Aero 300/340

Grabbed 30 minutes before work this morning for my second session. Would have been longer, but the 1.11 update put paid to that. Fortunately, the servers seemed pretty quiet at 5:30am EST...

20.583
50.983

Made one huge error and one small error in T3 but still quicker overall. Hope to get another session soon. Thanks to all for the tunes...Not sure whose I'm using which bits for (@Sutuki , @EDK , @skyline1683 ), but thanks 👍

I'm not good at this track  already got 200km mileage..

Using Sutuki's setup. I've got a small idea of what you guys in front are doing on the lap, but i cant do it myself as it seems.

Today's session I used @EDK 2.1 tune and that got me almost 2 seconds of my standard time and left .2 in T1 and .4 in T3 but could not put it together anymore. Wil try the other tunes in the coming days. This one feels good but i'm still having some oversteering moments but that's probably my own wrong doing.

Lost a .149 by taking the chicane in 3rd gear :ouch:

Final sector isn't great though, without the rear downforce it's tricky to keep the nose pointing forward!

Too scared to change the setup though :nervous:

I want to know what tune you hit that with. Want to share that tune with us?

It's a hybrid of Sutuki's suspension etc and Skylines tranny. :) that's basically it.

There must be a driving style thing that I'm working through, because I have too much throttle OFF oversteer with the standard Sutuki suspension settings.

The LSD, so me, is as much as anything to keep the car stable when turning in. The super low settings make the car feel like it's walking around on me, I went through the same thing in the Mugen Honda.

If you want to take some of the throttle on oversteer out of my adjustments to Sutuki's tune, as we should probably call it. :sly:

  • Add more positive rear toe. This will cost you some turn in, will make the car push a bit more going in.
  • Add LSD Initial torque or accel. This will make the car push more under throttle.
  • You might try unwinding some of the front camber. It will probably cost you some turn in, but would also help with the car over-rotating when you apply power.
  • Higher rear spring rates, but this is a fine balance. The front is as low as it can go, and I really like the car with a wider spread between front and rear. I raised the rear up and raised rear toe at the same time to get the car to feel the way I wanted to through the corner.
The only place I'm struggling with power on is the last turn, maybe the turn before sometimes, but that's more of a line thing, I think. And it's not consistent in either of them, it's fine if I hit my line and am not too antsy with the throttle.

@EDK I'm struggling a bit in t3, but not at the last corner. More like the 2nd.. i can't keep it straight coming out of there. The lift off over steer is crucial in t2 and a little more rewarding in t3 if you can do it right.

That's where I'm only lifting to get the car pointed, a bit of brake for the others in T3. Understand what you are talking about, I'm not tuning it out completely. I just don't want it so I lift and the car goes nuts. Probably just a driver skill thing. :sly:

By Sunday, I'll be on Sutuki's full tune.

@EDK That did help but went slower whit it so put back original tune and just will be more patient on the throttle. Drove around the same splits again. 👍 They are not that bad  just a bit slower then you are.

Ok thanks. I already used Sutuki's tune. If the gears make the difference, you know what i'm gonna do

@McsQ Where did you come from all of a sudden  Sick 2nd sector dude 👍 What tune brought you that far?

Hopefully you did not do ALL of that at once.

Suggest trying one at a time, small increments, chasing your own ghost to see where gains might happen.

The kitchen sink of all of that would definitely make the car stable but slow. :)

This will be the most competitive week I've seen. This is one of those weeks where the times will just keep dropping as the competition will push for better and better laps.

A D2 placing in the Top 10 should require immediate dismissal.

It will be fascinating seeing the variance between the leaderboard at S2 versus the full lap. Sector 3 will tell the tale.

I predict that by the end of the weekend you will need to run 50.8xx T2 just to be in the top 20! That's crazy but it's also my goal (I have seen 51.1 so there is hope).

Yeah that's entirely possible -- there's so much time laying around T3 that its probably hiding what guys are already capable of doing through T2.

Finally a 29 in T2. Usually my weakest sector here
