Any tricks to this one before i get started, brake balance? Also has this game still got the joy of "breaking in" the car?

No break-in. Just add parts listed and change oil, then change oil after about 150 miles. The power doesn't seem to go down in the Settings menu, but I do it anyway just in case because normally the power boost from the oil change wears off after 200km or so.

I think I'm using 6 5 brakes. This seems good enough for me.

Just so we all know - my last splits were just a fluke - I am back to bouncing off the walls.:banghead:  :ouch:

Anyone have any idea on how I avoid going wide in the longer corners?

Go in slower :D This car does not like to be slid around, keep it calm and smooth.

Had a much better lap than this before realising my mirror scraped the wall while reviewing my replay! :banghead:

The only way I found out is by turning off the music on the replay.

I'm hoping to get my wheel back next week, barring any issues come up while testing it. *fingers crossed!* The wait has been killing me.

Rome is still not my track.

my split at this moment

I know I can do more

Finally beat my ghost, and by quite a margin, although I lost some in T3, only 0.3s at the line.

update: after spending the night in Montreal, my wheel left Plattsburgh NY about an hour and a half ago. Final destination: sunny San Jose CA.

That's weird. My g27 broke and its replacement came from Memphis.

Maybe their final resting place is different than their place of birth! If mine comes from Memphis also, that's good news, it means it'll get here faster.

Tuesday night session splits. Trying to get smoother in the first set of turns and more daring at the long downhill/right hander.

T1 0:30.033
T2 0:56.900
