Yes it isCould it be because I am using it as a courtesey car?
surely that wouldnt matter?or is it this strict?
will I need to re-run it again?
Using the courtesy car the power would be the same as stock, ie, with no oil change, so yes, you were at a disadvantage. Why are they different out of curiosity, are the specs actually different from stock? Just wondering whether or not i actually put myself at a disadvantage or not
The "CarType" in the message must mean courtesy/garage/... , not something relating to actual cars. Why are they different out of curiosity, are the specs actually different from stock? Just wondering whether or not i actually put myself at a disadvantage or not
You could try starting GT6 with the network connection on your PS3 disabled, so that it doesn't know there is an update. In the XMB menu toward the left and at the bottom is a Network Settings menu.Wow this is great! I boot up my PS3 to an update which has an error on the installation part... it lets me reboot and the same error everytime?? I can't boot up GT6 now without this install trying to complete and the same error bah... any ideas guys? I dont want to jump in and just delete my GT6 gamesave as I want to access my replays to export will wait for some suggestions before the next step
Thanks in advance 👍

Try looking in the Game Data Utility:It has already downloaded the update it crashes on the install mate... tried it anyway to be sure and same error even with internet disabled surely there is somewhere on the ps3 that holds this update file that i can physically remove without having to reinstall GT6 again and lose all my stuff?
PD you silly bunch of idiots!! you need to guarantee these cr@p updates (that you force on us )work.. before you mess up peoples consoles pffft 👎
