Splts after session last night.

28.350
49.450

So much time to be found in that last corner, 5 times in a row I was down on my ghost coming into final sector and managed to beat it to the line!

@couttsy21 In my case it was the opposite I was ahead of my ghost on multiple occasions but my ghost beat me in the last corner. thank god for the data logger:bowdown:.

Anyway my new splits T1 was a bit slower but gained .2 in T2 and a whopping .5 in the last sector. and there's still time be found. I'm sure that the 2nd turn before the bridge holds a big secret for me:grumpy: but I'll search for it :P

28.974
50.258

Cheers,

Kevin

And I got a bit quicker... again...
This combo is so unbelievably addicting. Just when you think you're done there is more time to be found.

Had some more laps last night but can't seem to nail the lap I am after! I got a save with my best splits yet 28.07x / 48.82x but beat it shortly after with slightly slower splits :(

I reckon there's .3 left overall for me at the line but getting them aint easy :banghead: took just over .1 off my total laptime over a 3 hour session last night... talk about slow progress :D

Will try some more soon 👍

my results after screwing around in the fotomode.

Drive it like you stole it

28.079
48.836

20 laps without improvement, then 2 consecutive best laps... this came up shortly after for 0.08 at the line.

Room for 0.025 in T1, 0.045 in T2 and perhaps 0.065 in T3 based on my best sectors so far! I'll have a busy weekend so I felt like going for it early on :D

As much as I hate the last corner, I seem to have done a little better with these ones, not sure if I can get any more.
28.306
49.306

Seconds session contained 27 laps and they could be the last ones because I don't think I can drive again. Just maybe a late monday session. Don't like the 'Force' feedback anymore after the last update it feels very loose but I could improve my time and also reached my projected time so i'm happy so far/

28.672
49.889

I forgot to change the oil.....:banghead:

28.602
49.618

now I'm gonna cry because of my stupidity level

Im not planning on making this my final submission, this is just so i dont forget, But someone help pls, I followed Oink's guide so im doing it right at least, Could it be because I am using it as a courtesey car? surely that wouldnt matter? or is it this strict? and more importantly, will I need to re-run it again?

Why are they different out of curiosity, are the specs actually different from stock? Just wondering whether or not i actually put myself at a disadvantage or not

Using the courtesy car the power would be the same as stock, ie, with no oil change, so yes, you were at a disadvantage.

The "CarType" in the message must mean courtesy/garage/... , not something relating to actual cars.

Wow this is great! I boot up my PS3 to an update which has an error on the installation part... it lets me reboot and the same error everytime?? :banghead: I can't boot up GT6 now without this install trying to complete and the same error bah... any ideas guys? I dont want to jump in and just delete my GT6 gamesave as I want to access my replays to export :ill: will wait for some suggestions before the next step :nervous:

You could try starting GT6 with the network connection on your PS3 disabled, so that it doesn't know there is an update. In the XMB menu toward the left and at the bottom is a Network Settings menu.

It has already downloaded the update it crashes on the install mate... tried it anyway to be sure and same error even with internet disabled :( surely there is somewhere on the ps3 that holds this update file that i can physically remove without having to reinstall GT6 again and lose all my stuff?

PD you silly bunch of idiots!! you need to guarantee these cr@p updates (that you force on us )work.. before you mess up peoples consoles pffft 👎
