It has already downloaded the update it crashes on the install mate... tried it anyway to be sure and same error even with internet disabled surely there is somewhere on the ps3 that holds this update file that i can physically remove without having to reinstall GT6 again and lose all my stuff?

I read somewhere that the amount of room you have left on your PS3 can cause issues? Maybe check that as well?

I'm one of the unfortunate souls that has super old DFP and used high FF settings already.

Edit: Treed' by alexamenos No you are not the only one. I feel that this combo can really use more feedback for the turn in on those high speed corners.

Yeah and I can't feel what the front tires are doing under breaking at all. They feel like they're sliding when they're not I think.

Admins please delete my splits from fetchy as i have lost all my replays from my ps3 and will have to start from scratch on this event if the update is successful at any time in the next millenium

After 2 hours of driving I would assume I would improve slightly or even get with 0.050 of my best time but with this update and the new FFB settings I just have no clue what my front wheels are doing it's like a lottery every corner

Nice combo once again! This time it reminds me on driving a SLS AMG GT Roadster on the A9 Autobahn almost one year ago: speed and sound were pretty similar. Sadly I took only one poor pic:

Seconds session contained 27 laps and they could be the last ones because I don't think I can drive again. Just maybe a late monday session. Don't like the 'Force' feedback anymore after the last update it feels very loose but I could improve my time and also reached my projected time so i'm happy so far/

they split the settings in to two separate settings. You can adjust these settings in the control settings menu. just play around with them. it is possible to get better precision at least I did

Made some progress tonight. Thankfully. Staying on the high side thru turn 7 makes such a big difference. It's nerve racking that close to the curb but it's worth it when you get right.

Finding it very difficult to be consistent. As others have said, it is almost a lottery when braking for some of the turrns. Just cannot feel what the front end is doing at all.

My feedback settings are 8 and 8. I tried dropping to 7on the sensitivity to get rid of the shake on the straights, and I may as well have been holding a dinner plate for all the feel in the corners.

I tried 1/10, 10/1, 5/10, 10/5, and 10/10. I like 10/10 the most. Still not good for this combo but at least I can drive other cars now so I don't have to put the game away until T300 becomes available.

Personally I changed the settings to 10/10 straight away on my DFGT and found I was much more consistent through t2, But that may have been down to me changing braking settings to ABS at 3. Still haven't changed brake balance though

Personally I brake about the 100m marker, and hug the outside, at roughly 113mph ish. Not sure if thats the best way

That looks perfectly clean to me my best lap is just like that as long as in your replay you don't notice a thud or a noticeable drop in speed which would indicate a contact you should be good to go
