LOL!!!!! My wife bought me the PS3 and my entire rig! I think she wants me to spend less time with her!!!!!!

WOW Man! I don't even know what to say! It makes me quite emotional :P:P:P although I like to see your time with "the wife approval setup" maybe a good beating makes me faster we don't know let's find out :P:P:P

Just stop, everybody.

My sector two time is slower than ever now. Sector one is faster than ever, but my lap times are a full second slower than before.

This is an evil TT, and you should all boycot it effective this morning.

Everyone who passed me today needs to withdraw those submissions. M-k?

Yeah, I'm talking to YOU, Crozzlow (And everyone else of the green persuasion). I need to be promoted to a brownie!

The competition is much stiffer in D2.

Just watch a race from Darlington for inspiration on running the high line

So I've dropped from Green 2 to green 5 in less than 24 hours; meanwhile I'm driving like a stroke victim. Revenge is coming tomorrow--just after my hangover wears off. I promise.

Nope

Most of the time! :) She is not enjoying what it has done to my body! Retirement is coming soon!!!! Then I will be able to do the TT's every week!!! OH wait.....hmmmmm, what else am I going to do?
Ya, my back was the 1st to go, or was it? I forgot!! :sly:

New splits:

29.134
50.234

Am I taking an extra corner in T1?!? Not sure how to find a whole second?!? Is the key to have the outside tires rubbing up against that cobble stuff to keep more speed? I watched Tidgney's video:

Which seems to suggest sticking up high on the banking but I still can't keep much more speed up there...really struggling with this one?!?

I have a higher apex through turn 1 I think it's beneficial as it allows you to maintain more speed through the corner on to the connecting stretch into turn 2. Turn 2 is basically playing chicken with the wall. start with braking at the 100m mark and apply the throttle again when you reach 170kmh from then on add 1 kmh each lap so next one 171 next one 172 till you reach your limit. I know its hard to be that precise and to do this but after 200 laps you'll eventually get it right. I know I'm not one of the fast guys around here but this is just my two cents. I hope this will help you and maybe some other guys.

-edit: Polyphony should name a piece of that wall the dutchy attraction zone because I must have hit it a million times

Hey, here's an idea. Why don't you head to nurburgring with dutchy!!!!

Y'all come on back say around Tuesday.

Sorry mate :P, I'll be back on Friday and I plan to do a few stints this weekend with a knife between my teeth so I can shave of those last two tenths I know is still out there

So do you mean stay up on the banking for a bit longer that @Tidgney does on Corner 1 and then dive down into the apex? And regarding Corner 2, I can't judge exactly when my speed is at a value, I've been trying to aim for 180km/h'ish and then adjust my speed to something around the 170-175 km/h but I feel myself faffing about on and off the brake and throttle which I know costs time?!? Uuurgh...this one is hard!

@MisterWeary

Indeed, I take the line perpendicular to black tire marks but a little above them. Turn 2 in my opinion is all about training training and also a bit of training. Because I chose this approach I now have a bit of muscle memory in turn 2 and now I'm starting to get the fruits of my labor.
