So do you mean stay up on the banking for a bit longer that @Tidgney does on Corner 1 and then dive down into the apex? And regarding Corner 2, I can't judge exactly when my speed is at a value, I've been trying to aim for 180km/h'ish and then adjust my speed to something around the 170-175 km/h but I feel myself faffing about on and off the brake and throttle which I know costs time?!? Uuurgh...this one is hard!

In the Tidgney video he dives all the way in on turn 1 and grazes the banking on the left. I find that going that far to the left only scrubs more speed, so I only come within a car width or maybe two of the banking on the left. I use the driving line as a reference and try stay to the right of the line throughout turn 1.

Turn 2 for me is brake and hope to get lucky, and with a bit more practice I get lucky a bit more often. I full brake at about the brake marker until the shadow, then half brake for a bit....that generally gets me in the right range but I frequently brake too long.

(one problem early on that was really slowing me down was using a courtesy car...my weekly reminder to myself to read the TT specs carefully)

As for sector 2, I've tried every conceivable line and they're all equally and painfully slow.

Putting my tinfoil hat on for a moment...you and I are the top DS3'ers...perhaps this style of combo is particularly difficult for button mashers? I know I'm no top runner anyway but I am curious to see if one of you top controller folk can smash out a T1 near the wheel folk...calling @ItsAllAboutWins, @Spud_Skills, @viper84, @redbullrider20, @anastasis14, @Ed_Night et al.

Using a G27, I think I have settled on Torque 5 , Sensitivity 2. It does feel light, especially on straights, but I feel like I have more control in the corners.

My best T1 after 3 Sessions is a 28.890. For turn 1 I used ABS=0. After turn 1 I used ABS=1. Maybe I could find a few more hundreths in T1, but I won't spend anymore time on this combo.

I can understand me being 0.3 slower than top drivers in a single sector, it's the 1.1 seconds that is baffling.

Having said that I quite enjoy this combo, HSR is a top track for these quick cars, I'm sure there's still a tenth or two for me to eke out 👍

No, the DS3 is not competitive around here. With a wheel you can go 10km/h faster through turn 1.

I got my ordered wheel yesterday, i'm not used to it at all but managed to beat my DS3- time by 0,5s and the lap was horrible.

Managed to find some more time last night. Still seeing areas to improve, for me it's all about getting that second corner right. So inconsisitent through there! Will maybe get one more session in before deadline, but if not reached my overall goal for this TT!
