I think the understeer feel on the G25 is a little better now. Thanks for all the tips.

Lost almost half a tenth in T3, not surprised considering it was a PB sector I was up against! Only needed 10 laps to get this one

My submission for week 35 has been accepted.

Wherever I end up on this thing, it is exactly where I deserve to be. Something about this combo @EDK that seems to validate ones skill level, whatever it happens to be. Assuming of course that you put your maximum effort into it. That!, is in my opinion, what makes a truly great combo. This one is.👍

I may have reached my threshold on this TT, I have tried so hard for so long and im not seeing fantastic results, I know the possibility is there, but its one hell of a challenge!

It's a great combo if you have wheel. Unfortunately the DS3 Drivers loose about 8 tenths in the first corner. It's impossible for the DS3 Drivers to compete with the wheel drivers of the same skill level. In my opinion it's a bad combo.

You make an excellent point. That is something that I didn't think about. I used a DS3 for years before I got a wheel, so I sympathize. If it doesn't happen all the time, what is special about this combo that makes it so?

You can't take the first corner full throttle with a DS3. My fastest speed through turn 1 was 260 km/h. The problem is how the game interprets the steering input. The game limits the steering angle a bit too much at high speeds. This is usually not a big problem, but in fast corners with banking like Highspeed Ring or Cape Ring it can be a huge disadvantage for the DS3 drivers, especially with an understeering car and no tuning options.

With 900° setting I sometimes turn 180° in turn 1, although that's a bit much and slightly less is better.

I'm not able to run this in the next 20-ish hours.

After last week's TT, my hcap was down to 2.2, but now it shows 3.2 in the online event entry board.
Your handicap for the karting TT only was 2.2. It will take multiple weeks of negative handicaps to get your overall handicap lower. The value we show in the online registration tables starts off being your overall handicap and then after results are published on Monday night, those handicaps for that TT only are transferred to the registration tables. We only use that info for the online races when there's more than 16 drivers and we have to split into 2 rooms.

Ah, I see. Thanks for the explanation. :)

Wasn't getting anywhere with my previous BB settings, so I went all-in and turned ABS off and set it to 5/3.

Still have a few tenths out there as I locked up hard getting into the S.

We often have DS3 testers, but not always.

The main consideration for lower division and controller drivers in terms of combo selection is approachability, and not necessarily speed differential.

Sorry it's not gone well.
