Decided to do some long runs, 25 laps at a time, to see where my optimal is. I lost my best lap by running a quicker but dirty lap later in the run.. lesson learned!

From another run:

25.415
27.914
18.666

Still plenty to chase.

Oh my, I just broke 100 miles last night for this one. I will have a bit more time for these once Winter really sets in. 100-150 miles is all I can get in if I’m lucky.

Great times you have there. 👍
Thanks.

Yeah it's hard to find time when you have very busy private lives. I take my hat off to guys like you that manage to find any time at all to put laps in.

I find that I can only run 20-25 laps at a time or I start developing bad habits.

That's strange, usually it's after 15 to 20 laps that gains start to be seen. I would suggest starting by running a safe, clean and tidy lap, even if it's slow, and then try to increase the risk gradually. By that I mean adjusting your braking points and apex speeds until you find the limit.
That said, we are all different and that approach might not suit you. But over the years most fast guys have told me that's the way they do it, and I agree with them, so I thought it could help you too 👍
