And an easy 2 tenths at the line.

Well, after spending the time (about 6 hours...) to re-adapt myself to the DFPro:

I got home in the wee hours of the morning, and on waking, did a dozen laps in my rig:

The ability to drive smoothly is just not an option with the DFPro... It is soooooooooooo difficult to do the first section flat and consistent. And tunes would ALL feel the same! Now the exact same tune is quite oversteery on entry on the T500 where it pushed a lot on the DFPro. I'm convinced the wheel is a huge improvement

I can see an easy 4 or 5 tenths with a good hour session re-adapting to the volume of feedback difference in the wheels :D

I am finding it difficult to improve, but I did get a nice picture of my ride this week. I have spent most of my time preparing for the 2.4 hour enduro, and only have so much free time to devote to the TT.

Edit: Maybe this is a known quirk of Trial Mountain by others, but is that a cat sitting in the tree? I know in the lake there is what appears to be a Loch Ness Monster.

Edit one more time, I found my answer, the animal is a monkey.

How long ago did you do the qualifier? It can take a couple of weeks to be checked etc so if you have only done it recently, then that would explain it. If it was a while ago, then maybe message one of the moderators and ask them
did the qualifier 3 days ago :)
and already paticipated in last race

This might be it for me, my wife and I are heading to the auto show in Milwaukee for the rest of the day. I might have one more shot tomorrow morning but probably won't have much luck beating this lap, just can't get the last couple tenths out of it. What else is new.

Good luck everyone.

Got quite frustrated with this today as I either kept messing up or the rear wheels spun up on exiting corners...especially when I had an improved time! Almost gave up but decided to do another couple of laps and am glad I did as I beat my previous best S2 split by 3 tenths and my S3 by 2 tenths.....and finally managed to get a sub 25 second 2nd sector for the first time. Can't get below a .7 1st sector for some reason...and on my best S3 split I had to lift through the S1 complex. Improved my overall time by 2 tenths as well so a storming couple of laps. Problem now is my combined PB's for the S3 split is a 1.8!! Gotta find that time somewhere:

S1: 15.780
S2: 40.663
S3: 1.02.196

Can I just say that the split leaderboard is freaking me out big time! I just don't see how I can be less than 8 tenths off first and, for now, in the Top 20 . Either I'm dreaming or I have slipped into an alternate reality...which is backed up by the fact that other people are using my tune and I'm not a tuner .

Oh well, I guess I should enjoy it while it lasts as I'm sure service will resume as normal next week :(

If it helps balance it out, I'm doing ridiculously poorly this combo. I keep checking that I've got the car/hp/PP/etc. Only had an hour to try so far this week, but still something just feels way off.

It needs a fair amount of driving to get the times. I am the other way in that I've driven almost 1000 miles on this combo this week.

YES!!!

T1 15.917
T2 41.833
T3 1'04.417

@Argon: Your investment paid off :D

Tune: Stock on everything but rideheight - lowered to 100/110, springs 6.17/10.82,
toe -0.10/-0.05,
Aero - 200/500

I am proud of me now.
I have seen a 15.7xx and a 41.2xx and then I saw wall and smoke

GO NEMO GO !!!
I'm proud of you. I can barely see you from down here, hopefully I can get some inspiration from your rise towards stardom. Keep those improvements coming matey.

I managed to finally break the 17" mark on S1 only to lose it exiting the turn!! Still plugging away at it tho!! Can't wait for the G27 to arrive!!

Just about to give this one a go, i'm guessing increased wheel size and chassis rigidity are prohibited aswell ?
