I just plain hate this car. I hated it way back when we raced it at this same track in SNAIL. A stiff fart will get the car loose. Still working on it though. Gluten for punishment I guess.

What are your splits? I'll upload a T1 vid soon if it helps. Right, no ballast, or anything else.

So far I'm at mid 30's for the first split and high 20's in the second.
I think it's just got to do with how far I push it, I'm not up all over the strips at the moment and am definitely not as agressive as some judging by the pics.

Here was a lap from the last time we ran Monaco by @mike_gt3. The key to the track is getting on the gas as quickly as possible and seeing how close to the barriers you can get on exit. You don't have to be going crazy over the curbs to get a quick time. In the chicane after the tunnel, Mike keeps the car under control as he sets up to get on the gas for the next long straight. The Rocket was faster, but if you attack the track as in this video you will get faster.

Initial splits... much work still to be done (and I'm not rounding off... those really are the splits  )

At least I have an advantage on this combo as I was the one that chose this combo for Snail

This one is driving me bonkers. I ran a great time, but knew I was close in the chicane. Sure enough, barely over the curb, but enough to be dirty. 100k later I got within 3 tenths of that time.

Had a great T1, absolutely horrible T2, almost 50 bloody seconds (at least a full second slower than my usual T2 splits) with a good T3.

Small improvements. I'm still feeling very rusty and way off the walls and apex's.

Lots of room for improvement. I'm kinda surprised how delicate of a touch this car has to have. This will be a great learning experience. Thanks @Gravitron.

I'm using 3/6 currently, but I'm no expert. I've used a variety of options and I honestly can't tell too much of a difference. 6/4, 3/8, 4/6, 5/5

I'm with you @CoachMK21. I've never been able to notice much difference when adjusting BB. On this car I've tried 5/5, 8/5, 7/5, and currently at 5/7. Didn't discern any major handling changes from any of these, but I assume it's because I'm simply not good enough to notice these subtle differences :boggled: ... maybe one day I will.

Lots to gain in the chicane if i get the chicane right i can do a 1.16.xx. But for now working on not touching walls. So frustrating if you are ahead of your ghost an you barely toched the wall somewhere in the lap

I changed brake balance to 3/6 (was some f. bias), enabling on the average better T1s. But only improvement was in S2+S3. Except that at T2 I don't look at the absolute, often not the delta either. Best lap of the session was 3 hundredths away, so until next session.

GT6 now up to date (3days and almost 20gig of downloads later) sorry for possible misguiding split times with out of date software last week.

I have always struggled at Monaco but I am loving this car and it's quirks. 1hr into the combo and I'm feeling frustrated but happy with my gain today. Still won't be near the top but hey you have to start over again somewhere. Splits as follows don't laugh I know they are bad. But they will have to do for now as I should be spinning spanners.
