Some improvement... really having a hard time putting 3 good sectors together at the same time. Had a few 1'18's in T2 but cant match it up with a good T3 :grumpy:

29.484
1'19.250

New splits.

29.402
1'18.402

Found .400 coming to the line so I was either already fast through there and hit a miracle super sector or I was slower than a snail before and just finally got my 🤬 together and got a decent run ......I'm thinking it was the latter.

I managed to get a little time and managed to get my time to a range that is at least not horrible.

30.917
1'22.684

I'm ready for next week and for this track to be (hopefully) absent in GT7.

29.258
1'17.991

Last chance for this combo. Couldn't quite figure out this car but nice to know Monaco a bit better all the same. Submitted and accepted.

I had a few wall tap laps that were about 2 tenths faster at the line than this lap, so I have a bit more to get.

Two questions.

1. How did a transmission this awful ever escape into the wild? I mean, they must have expected the car to top out around 300mph.

2. Why did they use a steering box from a school bus? This thing requires more input than any car I can remember. I'm almost tempted to install a suicide knob.

Still figuring it out. Obviously.

I'm guessing PD modelled this car on the R500 version which has the longer gear box but with such low power the car struggles this is why I install the close ratio gear box and the car comes alive .

Like I said, it doesn't look great. I'll try to get a better looking one.:P

Edit:
28.704
1'16.354

I guess that previous 2nd sector was just a fluke. Seen a .6xx T1, but only once and couldn't convert it.

Ok,Ok, we know your 1st name now but is your surname Verstappen?

Can't wait to see that lap and the total time, props.

Thats it, I haven't hit all the apexes but I won't be running again
Had a bad last sector too

Had a wee go at this on Thurs before heading away. Was just managing 1.19's.

Just after checking the leader board, I'm completely blown away by the T2 times. I now fully understand the term 'Aliens' given to those in D1. You guys are managing unbelievable times can't wait to see the lap from whoever ends up in the top spot.

Going to spend a few hours at this today and see if I can improve at least by a second.

I'll be submitting this lap. It's off in every sector, but it's the best clean lap I have. I was going to submit a lap that's .2 faster, but after further review I brushed the wall in the entry to the first turn. Can't hear any bump, and I don't lose any speed, but I also can't see any light between my rear fender and the wall. Tough week.

Amazing splits from Les, can't wait to see that lap.

EDIT: Submitted and accepted. Good luck everyone.

My worst last sector by far, but am getting into the swing of things. Won't submit this one, as sector 3 is shocking, but a great base to build on.

Edit: typo on t2.

I have the same thing a lap that is .2 faster and a possible bump on that wall. As with you mine made no sound, the car does not deflect at all, but looking at it you can't see any daylight between car and barrier. I did a lap where I tried to bump that wall, and the car did deflect and make a thud. Normally those 2 things are what alerts me to a wall tap, but this one is only visual.

Thank you guys.

Like Brandon already said the car needs too much steering input, which makes it very difficult to get a fast lap. But I'm quite happy with this one and I'll stop now.:P

Never mind it's dirty.

I was wondering when you would put up a time faster than me. Nice splits 👍. I am not sure I can match those, although a few times I had 17.5s, but proceeded to mess those up.

Too bad I couldn't find time to run this seriously the whole week. Other than the obnoxious gearbox, the car and track match very well. I'm gonna let this one slide and try to get some practice for the GT86 later today...

After 2hrs I managed this;

29.633
1'18.817

Not happy, think i'm braking to late. Any tips on BB i'm using 3/9 ABS 1.

I used 3/8, and yes, early braking helps. You have to have most of your braking done before you try to turn or the car pushes really bad. I think the throttle oversteer that some people are struggling with is caused by driving into the corner too hard. You then have to put way to much steering into it and when the throttle applied, the front end hooks and puts you in the wall.
