There's a little more I can squeeze out, but overall, a massive improvement at the line.

If my PS3 can keep alive long enough, I will try for this week. My times I would have been able to put in for the last two weeks would have been enough to keep me happy. Oh well.

63Kms in, and many, many wall hits later, I am getting into a rhythm. Still learning to drive round the really slow gearbox.

Scruffy entry to both the tunnel and the chicane, and not on the power quick enough out of it. More to come.
The challenge I am finding is making sure I get enough speed off and turned in early enough. Getting back on the power is key, but the temptation to carry too much speed into the corners is too great for me to overcome.

Cant wait to see the winners lap, the times at the top are gobsmacking!

This run was 2 tenths slower at T1, over 4 tenths faster at T2 and 4 tenths faster at the line than my previous best. There is so much more time to gain, but I don't know how much more time I have to put in the rest of the week.

Change BB to 2/3 and TC to 0 and improved T2 by nearly 3 tenths.

I am trying to remove my splits from leaderboard. It is a long story, but I posted illegaly. I started thinking something was wrong when I noticed my split time staying near the upper part of the board. (I drive Monacco a lot, but...) I knew something was messed up when I watched @skyline1683 replay and the I saw him take 1st corner in 1st gear....I did initial laps with illegal tranny. Sorry to all.....

After an hour of hotlapping, I realized I had left SRF on after letting some kids play for a little bit the other day.:ouch:

I hopefully will get a session in later tonight or tomorrow, not that I have any hope of the results being good.

This is closer to reality.......feel like there is quite a bit more out there for me.

Feel like I'm absolutely 'on it' when driving but look at the replay and realise my car is 2ft narrower than it seems when lapping.

Having trouble hooking sectors up but then that's always been a problem for me.

Will probably sub with these splits.....maybe.

Arrggghh!! PS3 keeps switching itself off. It is going back tomorrow, so hopefully they will swap it out. I have only had it a few weeks.

Shame really, as I had a little bit of confidence on this one. I was hoping to see where I was, so I could compare to the last Monaco TT. See how far I have come since week 7.

Anyways, good luck to all.

I really hate this track, Not to fond of the car as well, but I tried my best for an hour.

Good luck to everyone to get better times.

A smaller improvement at session end. Underwhelming S1 and especially two, low start and finish speed. On two wheels at both the Hotel hairpin and that scenic chicane, a tad unusual here.

Two questions.

1. How did a transmission this awful ever escape into the wild? I mean, they must have expected the car to top out around 300mph.

2. Why did they use a steering box from a school bus? This thing requires more input than any car I can remember. I'm almost tempted to install a suicide knob.

Still figuring it out. Obviously.

4th, 5th and 6th gears are quite short compared to 1/2/3

If you are using G27, change the steering rotation - hold down the two middle red buttons, then press triangle or square or circle or x. From memory, triangle gives you the lowest degrees lock to lock (around 200 degrees)

Thanks, ya I know about the rotation settings on the g27,I just never bother with it, I just make do with stock rotation. It just seems silly that such a little car turns so poorly.

A couple tenths left in each section.

You know, back when that was first discovered, I experimented with all of the settings at many (almost all) different tracks and really found to advantages (in lap times) to using any of those non default settings. I'm not saying that they can't be used to help lap times, but I personally didn't see any advantages or improvements in my lap times. If you have a certain setting you think works best along with the new settings implemented for the wheels a few updates ago, let me know and I will try them out.

On a side note, I also read somewhere that changing those settings will prematurely wear out your wheel, that's why they weren't made public by Logitech. Just something I read, don't know if its actually true or not.
