I fight the oversteer in entering the chicane by smooth brake release and smooth acceleration while overlapping these two actions.
#Think I may be getting the hang of that chicane with this car, still not too sure though. My times are more consistent, but still behind my best through there by roughly .050-.125. Any advice here would be greatly appreciated. Really struggling to find the groove here in that section with this car. My ass is stuck here in this seat today until I figure it out. I've locked the doors, pulled the shades, and turned off the phone.......dedication and determination, its what's for breakfast today.

I think my last sector is quite good, but maybe a tiny bit slower then Mike's
Just try to be ready with braking before entering the chicane and focus on the exit speed and line. (around 116-120 km/h at the exit curb) Enter the long left from the left-middle of the track and reduce your speed when entering the tripple combo and keep it close until the last curb.
Thank you, trying it now.
EDIT: Do I enter in 3rd or 4th gear?
4th gear
Alright. Are you sure about those exit speeds though? Mine are around 85 mph (136 kmh) at the exit curb.
I certainly hope I did the final chicane well. I surprised myself last time the WRS event was here.
On a separate note, can somebody help me with some terminology. A couple of you are using the term "lock" and I'm not quite sure exactly what it means.
@EDK was talking about "releasing lock" in T2 and @GTP_CargoRatt was talking about "using more lock"
Sorry if this is an ignorant question, but is anybody willing to elaborate on what precisely this means in terms of driving technique?
Its steering lock. How much you turn the wheel in one direction towards the locked position, or the point where it stops turning.
Superb splits Mitch 👍. Keep on fighting the blue boys

Since I just can't wait any longer, I should have my new T300RS Monday. I have been holding off thinking that Sony and PD would finally release a GT (7 of some kind) Game/Console/Wheel package, so I thought I would start without them. I hope my times will reflect my investment
I hope it's better then the G27 (no need for a clutch but I do like my DFGT's remote shifter)
Now I'm going ta grab a high ball and a fatty, and flip on the combo as I proceed to finish off my old wheel and fight through the switch back
