New splits, not gained that much, it's still progress :)

T1:55.382
T2: 1'40.201

I'm also enjoying the (sometimes) huge powerslides. Controlling the car through those is real fun :sly:. Shame it destroys laptimes though ... :indiff:

Did a few more laps this morning and improved slightly on my T1 and T2 splits, but improved bigtime at the finishline...still not perfect, but am having massive fights with the last chicane!!....lol.

T1:0'52.801
T2:1'36.624

Just to make sure, if I have 2 wheels on the rumble strip and two wheels on the grass, it's clean right?

Yes but be carefull, as the curb can end very sudden on some corners. :grumpy:

I make a point of two wheels on the black stuff, that way you know your clean very time. 👍

Sounds like a good plan. ;)

I've been highly considering buying a g25 actually. Thing is, the only time I've had behind a steering wheel is driving some fast karts in spain, and spending a few hours in my dad's vectra LOL It would be a nice early christmas present I guess. :dopey:

I would post the tune to use for the car I'm using but that would give away which car I am using and I don't have time for the other car.

So just post a bogus tune for the one you aren't using! Oh, I guess that wouldn't be very fair - how about just post the tune without the power and weight? You never know, it might actually work for both cars.

Well, I am pooped.

I simply cannot stay consistent enough to see under 53. I may be capable of that, but I sure cannot do that.

I will leave with this...I HATE this games FFB. It simply sucks, you cannot feel the car right. One second you are ok, then the next without any movement or indication the car slips up...With the car I am using it feels like is a HUGE hole in the FFB...The center has no bite... Does any one else feel that? I have my FFB on 10, and it feels like a 2-3. When I play rFactor the FFB is WAY stronger. And I don't get the dead feeling.

I have a G25 with FFB at 10. Your comments? I want to make sure I am not nuts about this.

(BTW, if anyone is wondering why I am playing, I don't have any HW. :) )

New Splits:

T1: 52.727
T2: 1'36.375

Saw a few 52.6xx T1's and had a lap of 52.648/1'36.236 going but messed up 130R--I wish I had a dime for every time I've had to say "messed up 130R."
So--as always--there seems to be at least a couple of tenths to take off my laptime. Getting there won't be easy though.

WHOA!!!!:eek::eek::eek:

Yep, no way am I beating that.:D If I'm lucky I think my limit would be reached with a 1'36.4xx if I even get to achieve that. Great lap Carl.

Well Chad,i have to say i like the FFB on my DFGT wheel a lot...
Tho i do think that it feels much more realistic when using S-tyres that with R-tyres...:ill:

I have noticed aswell that when changing camber and toe settings in your setup, this makes a slight difference in the way my wheel feels...especially in understeery moments, maybe you can do some testing with your wheel to see if it helps...👍

Super split times Carl!!👍👍👍,if only i knew what car you are using...:sly:

I have seen a .7 at T1 and a .5 at T2 several times only to mess it all up at the chicane...thats my "problem" corner with this combo...:grumpy:

Am also kinda stuck with my settings now,it doesn't really matter anymore what i am changing in it,it doesn't make me go any quicker!!...

Will have one more go and than call it quits..👍

Not wondering why you are playing.

But, based on your comments, wondering why you aren't playing rFactor? :dopey:

Some far more respectable splits from my 2nd attempt:

T1 - 0'54.467
T2 -1'39.425

Well, a bit of mucking around trying to choose which car. Turns out the one I thought I was fastest with was actually holding me back, which was a bit of a mind trip. Anyway, first effort at splits:

T1 - 0'54.602
T2 - 1'39.302

Had another go just now,

0'52.882
1'36.694

Carl, what the hell? Are you using a GTLM??? :scared:

👍

I think you're supposed to tune your car to 724pp, not 800 Carl.

New Splits:

T1: 52.598
T2: 1'36.282

But only 4 hundredths better at the line than the previous splits.
May wind up submitting with these.

After getting a tune that make the car feel better, and driving it as sloppy as hell I managed a DECENT time for once this week. Still not close to you fast guys..but its a start!

T1 53.024 (Lost a load of time in one power slide)
T2 1'36.893
