Updates this evening:

0'31.311
0'57.869
1'14.546

Gettin' there. Gotta make some time to actually do some racing on this one - bet its some real white knuckle insanity out there.

This has a very flat torque curve, plenty of grip.
It does however seem a little dull after the Tuscan. :sly:

31.843
58.384
1'14.996

Still working the tune :D

EDIT: After studying the split on the leaderboard,
it seems my tune might be good enough.
Just need to tune my ability for T1. :D

Errr ... about the gearbox, its max for Suzuka is not suited for DR (especially when also using it in draft in the online race-setup) and it hesitates from 2nd to 3rd - but that could also be the machine and not the tune. About the cornering, it would help if you could see if it could handle more predictable under the extreme circumstances of the first lefthander after the looong straight.

Thanks 👍

I'd love to give it a try if you would like to PM it to me. 👍

I've always suspected that DR is one of those tracks that you can't have a good tune for the whole thing. You can either design it to do well in the first 3 sectors or the last 2 sectors. You may have a tune that gets you to T3 really quick but if she can't get through the busstop with good speed then you're in trouble. To me, the busstop is nothing like any other part of that track and how you exit it and what speed you exit it with really means alot at the finish line.

Also, I used to think that tires were the great equalizer in this game and that once you got into the R series the lines between divisions could get blurred very quickly - clearly I'm wrong this week so far.

This would be a great week to do a final analysis on everyone's early splits and their final sectors - maybe I'll undertake that effort. :)

I too would also like to give Paulie's tune a run through. PM is good for me Paulie ;)

I gave EDK's tune a bit of a tweak that gave me a little more acceleration & gave me the splits that are current. :)

Whoops, sorry guys, I had already forgotten that I hadn't posted the tune of mine for this WRS, the only tune I have is a Predator Edition which was designed more for fun than anything else. I'll have my time trial Brera posted tonight.👍
Also Lin, I did not feel my tune lacked in any area on the track, but I'll let you decide when you get it later on.;) As always, feedback is appreciated!:D

Edit: The Lion's Den Performance tune for this WRS has now been released.👍

Edit 2: Does the Fetchbot add newer but slower splits?
T1- 31.470
T2- 57.911
T3- 1'14.466

That was one frustrating session, I had a lap that was 2 tenths faster than that the whole way through, and although I'm sure my lap would have been clean, the game saw fit to invalidate my lap in the 2nd half of the bus stop.:irked: In fact, almost every lap I did had a T1 around 2 tenths faster than what I had here, I just happened to nail the bus stop so well the lap overall was almost 3 tenths faster. I hope to put that 2 tenths in an overall lap some time before this is over. I don't think I'll be able to match Aderrrm to the 3rd sector, that is one incredible lap he's sitting on, so I hope my bus stop is faster.:sly:

Hi everyone,

Can I post my time splits here before showing up officially in the GTP_Registry?

Hi everyone,

Can I post my time splits here before showing up officially in the GTP_Registry?

As long as you have registered your qualifier and have a GTP_ preceeding your PSN, then yes. 👍

Hi everyone,

Can I post my time splits here before showing up officially in the GTP_Registry?

And the penny dropped... I was wondering who it was in the one race yesterday who with apparent ease just drove a second quicker a lap than I could manage. No wonder. :dunce:

My apologies for being a bit untidy. I just started the PS3 and immediately drove a race without warming up.

Welcome to the WRS, Ramon. 👍

Yes, you can participate and post splits before your qualifier has been processed. Please just run the quali and submit, if you haven't already done that.

We all know which division you're going to end up in anyhow. :sly:

Kevin

Thanks for the welcome guys. 👍👍👍

Anghammarad, don't worry at all mate, sometimes I get in online being cold too and along the race I'm warming up, yesterday I was racing with you and with DOUQA and all was gentleness and chivalry, things that aren't very common in these days.

Kevin, I've already ran the qualifier and I've received sjaak's reply pointing me out my division, I just tried to be polite asking first before posting my splits.

Ramon Fernando Alonso
 I'm more like Pedro de la Rosa, not due by his awesome racing skills but by his attitude, place of birth and age. :D

These are my time splits:

31.167
57.499
1'13.986

I'm using Kevin's great setup but with this gearbox:

3166
1770
1375
1100
910
770
F4170

... and the ABS set to 1.

My GTP_ID is GTP_eclipsi

Greetings 👍

Welcome Ramon. Great splits. 👍

Slower splits but much faster at the line:

31.229
57.670
1'14.232

Another attempt. T1 can be a few tenths better, but I don't see much room for improvement in the other sectors.

T1: 31.544
T2: 58.101
T3: 1'14.725

 HOLY MOLY!!!!

Just last week, I used your lap at Fuji for the Tuscan to learn. Real pleasure to have you here and competing with us each week.

Hoping to shave another tenth or two off my times tonight but don't expect to get anywhere near those numbers unless the spirit truly moves me. Speaking of, I might try imbibing a few spirits first.

After first couple of hours:
31.501
58.166
1'14.908

Will be away over the weekend though :guilty:
So there will be a last minute Monday session to try and improve on that.

sorry Kev, but I'm jumping off your tune and heading to Paulie's 👍
new splits:

0'31.493
0'58.179
1'14.774

Well, the faster drivers are really bringing the heat now, amazing laps Ramon, Chunkee and Lin.👍

31.539
58.144
1'14.781

Paulie`s tune:tup:
Until now I drive with Kevin`s tune
I think Kevin`s tune is much more safe(not much slower end time)
Thanks to both of you:cheers:

Need to fix that third split unless you found a way to put the flux capacitor in the Brera and went back in time (queue the music).
