I'm gonna take steven off the snide here and post slower times....the entrance to 1 is killing me, I just can't see it....

Hey,
I don't know your experience level but, have you tried watching any TT replays of turn 1 at DR? It may help.
best regards,
Dan
ps. If it's any consolation, I'm crap through turn 1 as well.

Hey Dan,

Yes, I'm using hakru's 1'55.xxx, my problem is the entrance is so obscure to me ( I've driven this track a few times with the Porsche Club) I'm braking too much while I search for the entrance line that seems to evaporate....

I'm glad my replay was useful, it was done using the clutch though.

Yeah, I knew that was the case but the gears, lines, and brake points were very helpful. Its really great to have such speedsters here with us each week showing us what is actually possible (probably makes Div 1 promotions alot easier too). Sure wish Dan and Timo would show back up - I could just sit around and watch the leaderboard all day long if that happened.

I could lose all my work until T3 and waste it in that bus stop as anyone, nothing is decided yet until we'll see the final times. 👍

I won't have more spare time to give it another go, so I've submited my time with these splits:

31.096
57'446
1'13.940

Good luck everyone. 👍

Well now that you've posted your splits, it should be interesting to see who between Ramon and you takes first at this rate, but I feel if you've got enough skill to get 0.3sec ahead of the rest of the pack, it's unlikely you've thrown it all away in the bus stop.:)

Will submit with slightly slower splits, but better bus stop, still a bit slow to enter the bus stop and had to check the ghost on the exit, but seems clean to me.

31.352
57.817
1'14.345

Slower splits but three tenths quicker over the line. Maybe I'll do a final push later.

Isn't it just amazing how much time you can lose/gain at the busstop? I get so nervous when I see a good T3 because I know its meaningless unless I absolutely nail the bus stop. If you picked up .3 at the line, this week is gonna be real close.

Good luck to all of those still at this one - with N3's staring me in the face I might "stick" with this one a little longer.

I've gotta say, I'm a little disappointed with this weeks effort......mine that is.

Been .3 faster at T1, been into the 57's once at T2 and thrown numerous laps, better than my submitted, away at the entry to the bus stop.

Good luck all. 👍

No more run since last Saturday. Time submitted with posted splits, including some drifting coming out of the busstop. :ouch:

It certainly is and I know what you mean. Every time I set a personal best in either sector I would mess it up at the bus stop. I set another 1'14.1xx, I mess it up at the bus stop. I set a 1'14.0xx, I mess it up at the bus stop. Then I set a better T3 and go a bit sideways on the exit of bus stop. I'm seriously inches away from the wall.

Submitting with these splits:

31.168
57.492
1'13.994

I'm pretty sure it's clean. I don't get the best run out of the bus stop so the fight for 2nd and 3rd is still on! :D

Looks clean to me as well

I'll submit with this new splits:

31.659
58.317
1.14.926

My new T3 is something like 3-4 tenths slow than the previous one but I have improved of 3 tenths at the line.. :ill: I'm really a :dunce:

Good luck everyone!

Submitted with splits on the board. I hate that bus stop. I was .5 clear of my submitted lap, made it through the bus stop, got all excited and put the front end into the wall

Splits submitted as standing. I am really disappointed not to be able to improve on my 1st sector time, especially with the consistent remainder of the lap. Hopefully it was only due to my set up and I actually steel three or four seconds over everyone across the line:dopey:

Had so little time for GT5p these last few weeks :(

Submitted with previous splits from my one and only go

Final splits...time to move on....but I really liked this car...

32.199
59.341
1'16.352

EDIT: I had a full second and a half better exit time out of the bus stop on on of my runs but I literally exited sideways, righted it and kept it clean arond the banked turn....I just didn't want to have to submit it so I deliberately crashed it.... : )

Here's my attempt:

Spiff
Here's my attempt also.
I only ran this combo WRS stlye today for a couple hours.
Hadn't tried it since early in the week.
Great ride but I don't expect a great lap time.
Nice lap but nothing special, and submitted.

Splits.

I was a bit surprised you suddenly went a lot backwards on the leaderboards.

I guess a lot of us have had it, chasing your ghost, so your running behind on your best split, nailing down the bus stop, getting out ahead of your ghost and at higher speed = a lot faster end time.

That bus stop is a special thing, I noticed that online I probably went of track regularly, but I never got a penalty.
But I did get a penalty going through the pits stop to let someone else take the win once.
