Ever crazier would be if that was Dan's first lap of his first session and he didn't realize he was logged in:
That is a very real possibility. I did that this week, and that's when I watched Dans replay.
It was out of pure curiousity and Eiger is a very technical circuit, especially the hairpins.

What's the fuss? there's about 10 GTP in the top 100, there almost always is. Kinda defies the point of not running online, especially since you have to either disconnect your internet or restart the entire game to go offline.
Anyways, I JUST got a DFGT last week, ran 90% of my lifetime behind the hweel time tonight, have a presumably crappy time in there by accident, but oh well, I'll probably forget to write down any splits or submit like usual, lol.
I do hate this car, all it wants to do it crash, over and over, especially when braking. Possibly less stable than an elise.

It goes to show that it is a common mistake.
I wonder what percent are a first run lap and then when notified on their placing,....... well you know the rest.
To log off is quite easy, just a couple buttons to push.
PS button, scroll over to PSN account management, hit the triangle button and hit X to log off.
I have the PS3 set up not to log on automatically, I suggest all WRS members do the same, especially after the last clock problem.

T3 is so so but the last corner is as good as it gets for me. I have a personal split when landing after the jump and this lap is far from the quickest there but at the line I am a full tenth quicker than my second best lap (which on the other hand has a +30s T2, so there's theoretically several tenths still in it)

Run another offline session (5th in total:tup
and improved by half a tenth with a more accurate last corner10.383 (lost 0.075 with a snap oversteer afterwards)

Most likely going to have another crack at it, finding hidden time each session which is promising. This car needs very slight steering to maximise cornering efficiency, and also noticed that sometimes a slight drift is effective, especially for the corner after T2

Improved by a further .035 but had a shocker of a 2nd last corner, probably going to have another go at this, already spent in excess of 10 hours at this one lol
