I guess you got me beat then ;) Submitting with slightly slower splits but a quicker overall time, good luck everyone!

:( Your pretty fast, but as you mentioned the splits on Eiger don't really mean much since the gap before T2 to Goal is quite large. We will see:tup:👍👍

Put another 10 laps in on this today.
New splits:

T1: 10.638
T2: 30.053

Hopefully this gets me off the bottom of the leaderboard.
I'll be out of town this week, so that's it for me. Time submitted.

Thats a lot of time...Wish i could do the same...

And again you are doing your laps ONLINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...:ouch:

spy.

No my last 2 sessions I believe have been offline, definitely, that .790 was done a few days ago, before I apologized here for the oversight a few pages back

Updated splits:
T1: 10.462
T2: 29.776

Last sector wasn't too bad, so these might be my submission splits.

No more time for this one. The next combo is out and I love London. Hope my final time is enough for this week. Time submitted!

Submitted, with slightly slower splits than those on the board, and a slightly less rubbish final sector. ;)

Ran another quick session, improved by a further 0.054 but not really at a desired time, but about to submit anyway, may have another go later, I used Simulation steering with feedback set to 4

Better give this a rest Spy 👍

I think any series participant has a right to question the actions of fellow participants, as long as they do it in a constructive manner.

I'm interested in Dan's answer, as it seems he is having issues with this particular rule.

Good luck to all this week. Not at home and can only remember half my laptime so wont be submitting this week :ouch:

As for the online running. Can it really be so hard to make sure you offline when you do your run

Submittted with the board times.
Chased hard up to T2, but I couldn't catch it. Made some ground up the hill on a couple of ocassions. Probably about .12 -.14 left out there, just couldn't get it.
Good Luck everyone. 👍

I apologise to the WRS community for the slight disrespect I have showed due to my actions, I regret firstly running it online by accident, but running it again was silly, my reasoning was 2 wrongs will equal the same wrong, stupid yes, will it happen again, no chance.

Ran a final session earlier, finally nailed the last corner after an accurate hairpin section, on these splits

10.427
29.426

Submitted, good luck in the results;)

I found a bit of time to run a few proper laps i.e. more than three with the sixaxis. Not huge gains but hopefully I'll run another session later on. I just need to see where I'm loosing 1/2 a second in the third corner :ouch:

T1 - 10.578
T2 - 29.913

D.

Submitted my fastest lap which had these splits:

10.602
29.788

Can't believe I couldn't pair up my fastest first 2 splits with a decent final sector all week long - very frustrating but note at no time did I invoke the old ploy - my most consistent sector seems to be the last one.

Took 0.250 seconds off my time today. Is now submitting.

Submitting with splits that are slightly slower than my previous ones.

I must confess that I have probably not put as much time into any WRS week as I have this time. Didn't help me much it seems. The car simply does not seem to suit me.

Good luck all

Whilst I haven't run many WRS events, I would like to add my support to the rule. I very rarely look at the Arcade Rankings or download replays anyway but by knowing what other people are doing seems, to me at least, more of a distraction. I am also surprised by the number of GTP tags on the online rankings this week.

I use the WRS as an opportunity to learn the tracks and cars and to share the experience with the rest of the WRS community. I'd like to think the enjoyment and ultimately the satisfaction from running an event comes from trying to improve my own skill rather than comparing it to others. Without the rule I would probably be less inclined to persevere with such an event if I knew I had no chance of being on the pace.

Ultimately, the intrigue of not knowing lap times until the results are published is better for all and should be respected by all.

Edit: No time for another session :grumpy: my latest splits are by no means my best but the lap is, of the cleanest ones anyway :) so I'm submitting.

Unfortunately I didn't have the time to give it another go. Submitting with the splits on the board. Good luck everybody :)

Every GT5 players worst nightmare...... stunning lap, extra keen to make sure it's a fully clean lap and what do you do ???? Exit the game without saving the replay - DOH !! My best lap was some 2/10ths quicker at the line and I couldn't replicate it :dunce:

Submitted with the slower time :ill:
