Aston martin or TommyKaira?!?! Because the pic say Aston and the description say TommyKaira.

Regards, Joey B.
Tommy Kaira. The only pic that says Aston Martin is the leader board, and that's only becasue we have not used this car before, and have not yet uploaded a pic for it.

Is the area behind the white dotted line legal track? If so, also when it becoms full white line?

This is why I doubt:

Race Specifics:

.....

  • The concrete areas outside the red and white curbs are out of bounds.

and then

Standard Clean OLR Rules:
  • At Least 2 Tires must be in contact with track at all times.
    • In situations where contact with the track is not possible because tires are airborne (above the ground), then the run is only legal if at least two tires in-line would have made contact with the track if the car were not airborne
    • If track contact cannot be 100% determined, then consider it dirty
  • Rumble/ripple strips are part of the track
  • All Tarmac is acceptable, including tarmac behind/beyond rumble strips
  • No contact with walls or objects, visible or invisible
  • If you're not 100% sure that your lap is clean, then consider it dirty
  • No hybrids
  • No cheating of any kind, these are relaxed races and we are experienced racers, we know what times can be done, and we can read your mind.We will know
  • Nothing that goes against the spirit of the rules
The tarmac behind the solid white will be ruled OB. We will update the OP to address, with some pictures for good measure.

What's up with that chick bent over on the side of the track? I would go wide myself...

Great combo 👍 Dusted off the ol 4 speed for this one :dunce: and the gearing is perdy darn comfortable. Finally got the rear end to start stepin out on entry so I could throttle up early and torq slide through the turns. Love the blind stuff :P

After some discussion on this new track, it's been decided that any tarmac behind or beyond the white line or rumble strips is now considered DIRTY. The white lines (solid and dotted) are legal and part of the track. I've attached some picture examples as well.

Just clarify for the dimwitted:
It's still legal if one has at least 2 tires on tarmac on the actual track?
Or should we consider tarmac behind or beyond white line or rumble to be like solid objects, like the chicane on Cote d'Azur?

I never understood how it works... :dunce:

I think it just tunes a car for you basically. It spits out the best settings based on some algorithm - but I don't think it would ever be as good as doing it yourself.

Found a tenth and a half at the line - only a tenth and a half because I lost a tenth and a half because I was overcautious in the last sector because I've been getting these splits a lot, but have lost my ghost in the last sector or made it dirty so I could've gained more than this, but nevermind. /blah

I think I've only seen another .6xx T2, but I have seen a .0xx T1, but as usual I hit the first bit of T2 wrong and I get thrown into the wall, or I do it wrong and can't get the speed out of it.

Anyways - theoretically another half tenth in T1 and perhaps another tenth in T2, with I'm sure a couple tenths in T3. So I think I have about another 3-5 tenths over the whole lap, and perhaps a .5 T2 if I'm lucky and can get more used to T2.

You can be over the line with 2 wheels, this isn't like the chicane at Monaco. But note that with the vague "line" on the dotted line part, you won't want to be too close to the edge there.

Thank you, Lucas 👍 Now I understand :D
