GTP_WRS'ers and their setups

I am interested to know though, how do you ever type with your laptop tucked behind the wheel like that? I see what looks like a HDMI coming from your laptop so I presume you project your screen onto the bigger one behind, which I guess is hooked into the PS3 as well, but do you have a USB keyboard out of sight or something?
I do have a wireless keyboard, but I usually just bend in over the wheel because I'm too lazy to take out the USB-thingie from my PS3. :lol: I'm extending my screen via HDMI, yes, so I can have what I call "nessesary apps" (like FaceTrack, a clock, OBS, etc.) on my laptop screen and the game projected onto my TV. My PS3 and my IPTV box (the thing on the left), is hooked up to the TV as well, so I can easily change between the three. The only difference when I'm on my PS3, is that my laptop isn't there and that I'd use my keyboard, which would be placed out of view.

I am currently looking for sponsors, as I want a new setup :) You can even bring home 2 passengers !!

How much it cost (interested to buy :) )? Yeah blue one to me too.

I have no idea, it is promotional setup by Ford, to experience the new ST. By the look of the material they used it might be rather expensive...

I can see that - might be do some money lottery - if I get lucky :)

It is a nice setup offcourse, but I really don't want two persons looking over my shoulders.... that is probably also the reason why the used such firm and heave material.

Jeez oink.. I bet you're a beast at clue...
Can you breifly explain clue? Might be something we have here by a different name.
This is my current setup, but I am decorating another room, and waiting for my new GTOmega seat and T500rs to arrive.
Got a good chuckle from me that one. That's creative 👍 Are you always on ironing duty as a result just out of interest? :lol:

Luckily for me, that is a spare ironing board. Not a clue why we have a spare, but I am not complaining! As a set up, it works reasonably well, but;
*The chair is a wooden dining room chair - Not comfortable after 20 minutes
*The pedals are flat on the floor - wrong angle makes my ankle hurt
*The ironing board has an awful lot of flex!
*The ironing board is at the wrong height.

My long sufferering wife has let me turn the spare bedroom into a man-cave. I will have my new setup in there, hooked up to both PS3 (GT6) and PC (Assetto Corsa).Will be done by mid-feb.

More pics once that is done!

Its just a murder solving board game. We used to play them before computers and consoles where the rage.

The reason we stopped using it for ironing was because it was to flimsy....

Which makes it ideal for me to attach a wheel to and then wrench it about! :lol:

My setup, for which am not posting a picture because that would be embarassing:embarrassed: consists of:

A DS3 controller (wish I had a wheel but circumstances don't allow it);
A 32" LED TV (won in a competition in December...Yay!);
A Technics Separates Stereo system for the sound; and most importantly of all

My bed...which I need as I have to lay down all the time due to an injury

All this is in my living room (it's convenient to have a living room/bedroom/dining room all in one room lol). If my back is ever sorted, then I am planning to get a wheel, pedals etc...maybe even a seat too but that is a dream for now:(

Wow David, given you have that injury to take care of you're doing well mate. Not sure I could even get off the start line if I were in you're position and agree with @Dean , nothing wrong with a DS3 👍

Thanks Mike. To be honest, the pain subsides a fair bit when I'm laying down and the concentration takes my mind off it a bit.

Yeah, I know there's nothing wrong with a DS3, just that my "rig" isn't as good as most others but it does the job: the Technics gives very good quality audio (as you'd expect from a Technics...even if it is 11 years old now), the TV is good quality considering it is a shop brand (mind you can'complain as it was free, is a 1080p and is better than my old Samsung 24") and my bed is really comfortable (6" thick memory foam mattresses are the best invention ever!). I may post a pic of my setup tomorrow just so I can prove myself wrong lol

Some impressive setups in this thread! Here's mine:

Not much to say about it, the "wheelstand" is a self-made, and it's lack of sturdiness can be a bit painful sometimes. Also the chair is just what it looks like - a real lower back killer.

..and yes that's a kettlebell holding the pedals from sliding.

Maybe we could start a band...

First time in years I opened that case, just to take that picture...

So, Lucas, is that you playing guitar on that Run to the Hills cover on your YouTube channel? (and singing, too, maybe :scared:)
