SkeI took the liberty to create this, I hope it will clear it up for you
ekmatt9Do we post our Vids. in here too?
SheronWhen you want to turn in your entry, you can use your own host or any free hosting [...] and only give the head judge the link to the video [...]
When the video is uploaded please PM [Sheron] with the link of the video... and post in the thread that your video is uploaded.
Barret WallaceSheron, as an Amateur do I have to post a full lap replay or just the piece that shows me drifting the alloted course area?
FolkedahlHmm, this sounds cool. Sign me up for amateur. Is they any certain view the replay should be in?
Just wondering, do the judges go easier on you if you drift with a racecar?
Your video must not contain your name, or any way to identify who's video it is (to promote fairness in judging).... Instead, use the number that has been assigned to you (via PM), by the head judge.
The video must include the lateral G-meter, speedometer, wheel(if possible), T times, and lap time. Your video should be a one lap replay without editing.
Boundary Layerso basically, just use the normal track cams and turn on the display.
In GT3 it used to be required that you also supply a bumper cam replay of your lap. Many people present that in a PIP format synced to the track cam - but Sheron's post doesnt say that it is necessary.
Boundary LayerThe same criteria is used to judge all entrants, so you won't get any bonus points (or points deducted) for doing so. However, the judging crew will (or should) take into account the limits/abilities of each car. Using any car at a level that is quite obviously less than what it is capable of will likely result in a low score.
