I do have to apologise to JoeTruckV8 and T-n-T-2000 for minor collisions. If any of you feel the incidents have warranted a penalty, I will take them as needed.

If you do not want me to post these results, please let me know. Thank you.

My hands were shaking after Div2 race ended. Great 45 laps I had on that track!

About the start: T-n-T, you did NOT jumped the start. I let go of gas for a while then you got advantage.. the mistake was mine, and I am accountable for that.

About GrayFox, you have absolutely nothing to be sorry for. This is racing, and we are all subjected to this.

Around lap 8, when I dropped to last position, a huge, HUGE moth just flew on me! I fought it with for about one minute, in which I made many mistakes and dropped to last.

After my first pit stop, I just stopped screwing it all and made my way to the top again!

Great race guys!

Yeah, but you charged back to win it. I wish I could've done that.

As always, here are the unofficial championship standings after round 6 at Fuji F.

Awesome weekend for me. I not only finished a 12 page research paper but also came back home for the first time in weeks for a short winter break. Hooked my PS3 up to a 57in hdtv and game on! I might as well have been on steroids this weekend or atleast thats whet it felt like all race long. Got a great start and just went for the dangling carrot each and every single lap of the race. The start was so crucial in getting away from the "draft". ten tenths in the ose first few laps. Im so tired right now.

Someone made a post about the Force feedback of the dfgt being better and providing more road feel than the G27's??? My life is forever confused.

So which is it. The DFGT or the G27, Ignoring the pedals for a second. Its clearly the g27 right?

That might if been before getting official support... I would assume now being officially supported out would be better.

Sounds like a great race indeed! i'm glad to see we are getting more entries on D2 and hope we can get more people in and eventually have a full grid!

Note: if that moth had a hundred lives, it would still be dead atm.
Lol!! Too funny!

I seriously doubt that's the case and would say that's just one persons opinion. Plus with the ton of aftermarket stuff and support for that wheel it's just the best deal out there!

Finally I can say I enjoyed a race! The Citroen while being a great and fun car it's just too stressful! I'm glad I'm out of that car! I need to do some serious testing and adjustments to my driving with this car to get that tire wear right, there's no way I could've pulled out a 2 stopper!

Well done Blaze and Leo! Congratz on your victories!

I will look at he replay, but I think it put us back in our qualifying positions when we restarted.

You had a great race as well as the others. I can't wait to watch the replay for the battles. Tonights race was a blast.👍

Actually, when we ended the first race due to a technicality, the field was reorganized to the order in which the drivers joined the room. When you start a race, the order is always determined by the previous free run session before it (unless you changed it to "Arrange from previous race" or "Reverse field from previous results").

I tried my best, and that's all I can hope for. I actually couldn't have asked for a better finish. Thought I'd end up last for sure. But it just goes to show you that you how unpredictable a race can be. My final laps could have ended up in a disaster, but I'm surprised I kept my car stable enough. But thatnk you for the compliment. Everyone else was better than me, that I am sure of.

I'd have raced if it wasn't my parents wedding anniversary + had to do some X-mas shopping. I'll hit up the next race? That OK TNT?

My race could of gone better if i didn't get Leo and I damage (late breaking on turn 1), putting us way back early. Good job on Leo's part to come back and win.

Stint one was mostly by myself, trying to get consistent times to catch up with the pack come first pit stop. Followed Leo for a bit until i saw the outcome of him fighting with a moth in real life through my rear view mirror, it was quite funny and confusing at the same time. Then first pit stop comes around lap 16, not sure if its only the Vettes but i seemed to use a lot of fuel had to put 20 liters. This resulted to me sitting in the pits for an extra 3 seconds waiting for fuel, which in turn leaves me with an bigger gap once back on track. This was the same results when i had to take more fuel for my last pit stop and another 3 seconds of waiting for fuel. I was able to chase down Joe and was still hunting after Sinlader but he kept the gap. Finished with just enough fuel. I think i could of came out a little higher if i didn't sat in the pits 6 extra seconds.

Can the other Vette drivers tell me if they came across the same scenario? If so then a car change may be in order. I know when the game suggest for you to take fuel its mostly right so i take fuel whenever it says to, sometimes a little more just to be safe. But 20 liters seemed a lot for me.

I pulled a gandalf and whispered to that moth to attack you while I was in the pits and you passed me :P. (even tho I didnt pit till lap 12 lol. next week it will be a giant eagle.)

I dont drive a vette but I had to make 3 pits no way I could have done 2, tires just couldnt handle it. I refueled on my 2nd pit and it said I needed 30liters.

If you pull an eagle onto me next race you can be sure I will QUIT AT ONCE! Please don't do that =(

About fuel: You all should keep in mind that in Fuji you are most of the time at very high rpm. Thus, it can seem that fuel consumption is higher than normal. IT CAN ALSO BE THAT VETTES REALLY WASTE MORE GAS, OFC.

And about refueling time: If you are planning more than one pitstop, you can always split refueling. At my first pit, it recommended twenty-and-something liters, but I got only 15 (which I know finishes before tires), and then a small refueling again at next pit.

And I pitted 3 times and anyone with 2 pit stops deserves my respect (stupidstormy36, if the race had one less lap, you'd have won!)

Regards,

Sorry to the Div II guys for missing this one. Sunday was our night to take the girls to go see Santa. I gave him an evil look. He hasnt given me what I've asked for the past couple years. :grumpy:

Just wanna say my Sunday night used to be fun.

Again sorry, I feel terrible. Worst thing i even joked about it. When i hit you i wasn't even braking. Seem to lose so much concentration on really long straights. Didn't seem to bad but than of course i finish you off in s3 :ouch:

Magz. Not just this race causing these feelings.

Car I drive DOES NOT have what it take to win. Well if the fast cars wreck each other cough Spa.

It's a pile of stuff. This week I will be soul searching wether or not I want to continue on GT5.

Right now. My thoughts are saying. Going to my shop on Sundays will be more rewarding then racing GT5.

Pretty sad when work sounds more fun then games or racing.

Yeah I asked redreevos and it appears to be be not any different after the spec aside from button assignments.. Thats weird i guess i am going to have to start sending PD complaints then. How hard could it be to port the dfgt feedback onto the g27? epecially when the g27 has the tech to do the dfgt so much better than the dfgt lol.

on the bright side its a gt5 specific problem(well not really a problem but more of a quality of the g27) rather than a problem with the wheel itself so its still better for pc games however.
