I don't think that intermediate or rain tires use the soft compound here as they last much longer than racing soft tires, even before the update. But then again, you aren't putting as much strain on the rain tires as you would with the soft tires in dry conditions.

Both Fords handle about the same IMO. So the Ford Race car to me is a good choice. Unless you're neutering that more lol

RS last for about 4laps before they go off the cliff so to speak so really 4 flying laps in qualifying is not much to be honest

Traction Control is banned in Division 1. So our tyre wear will be even worse.
The CLK is not a good car on its tyres, or perhaps I'm just not a good driver on the tyres, but while it's not very good on its tyres, it's able to manage worn tyres pretty well. Meaning, you can lap the same pace as others with tyres in slightly worse shape.
Next race isn't until 2012, right?

Truly like to continue with the race at hand. Think of it as a new tire rule for the series. Racers will adapt.
