Man sucks for the DC problems, I was having a good race, made 6 up possitions on the start of the race and it was looking good for a top 5 but then dissaster struck! At this point I'm not sure if we should put this on hold till the next update or not...

Sorry I had to leave, my g/f's mom's b-day was today and she came home blasting that we had to go. So I had to go and get my son ready to leave. I qualified 1st. Unless someone beat 1:50.708 then I was 1st. The fastest lap was 1:50.8 or .9 before that and on my last lap before coming to the pits I set the 1:50.708. Sorry if I sound like I'm bragging. I'm not, but the fastest lap at the time T-N-T said go to the pits was 1:50.8 and I was already on my flying lap after coming past the pit entrance. Unless GTP Erick set a faster time. No one said anything besides one of the guys in the black Fords. He said he equaled my time, it was definitely weird. I donno, I had to leave suddenly anyway, and I got rear-ended on the opening lap so I pit early at the end of lap 3. This is one of my best tracks, too bad i had to leave.

Hey I race in an another racing series and we keep experiencing a lot of 'lag' framerate and people disconnecting since the patch.

What's happening with you guys?

Weel i'm so piss off, in 6 first laps i have 3 seconds gap everybody pass to me and have no grip, just see the replay, and take yours conclusions!!!! this is need to be a test race, i have the car and the skills to made better than nine, this race is not fair for me!!!

To say the battle for position after the pace lap was very heated is only a mild understatment. Im not gonna point names or name fingers here but I think lap 2 was a little less than professional in this race. I will say however that I was the meat in sandwich that had 3 buns on lap 2. Needless to say there was some contact but imo it was not hard enough to warrant damage. Yet my car was left limping to the pits on lap 2, with 3 out of 4 corners of my suspension damaged. (I never hit anything off course either)

SO I need some answers from the ford guys div1 and div2. Is it just me or dose the car now take damage if it gets looked at funny?

Id really like to know so I don't feel like I got beat up and my lunch money stolen.

Here are the all probs since last update

yo smokedogg send me a pm with your car requests

I'm in Florida untill Friday...

But I have friends outside of Orlando that I was able to watch the giants destroy alanta with 👍 :)

I say we keep the points and treat as if it was the official race because I pretty much stayed up all night to race. People who were unlucky will get another chance to do well and score points it ain't the end of the world you know:tup

Edit: OK guys lets talk about LA Sartha

Lool, thats funny for a guy who said he don't no how he can manage the 4th place, but if you guys fells good with that for me is the same!!!

Is the ZR-1 allowed in this series at all? I looked at the car entry list in the OP, but I didn't find it. If it's not, then I think we had an illegal entry in Division 2. It's up to you guys if you want something done about it. To me, it doesn't matter. If it is, then I wasn't informed that the ZR-1 was allowed to participate in this series.

Yes the ZR1 is allowed. I wasn't positive if the HP was 650 or 670. I had my computer off while the race was going or I would have checked. I believe it's to have 670HP.
By the way, thanks for the help on the race results. I will get the final results to Jav befor the end of the week.👍 I've been taking care of Div2 Since we started.

Just to clear this up. GreyFox32 is still driving the ZO6 Corvette and it is still listed. The ZR1 was added to the the car choice. Unless Jav took it out. I don't think it was eliminated.

You hit the rear of my car at the chicane befor the pits and caused damage. I could hear your tires screeching as you were hitting the breaks a bit late. When we both pitted because of the damage you left the race.:dopey:

I agreed to an official race. So I would think that's my vote. Even though I was killed by the tire wear. It is what it is.

I'd love to see this dropped to a test but truly don't care either way as I voted for an official race.

If we are throwing votes out now. I vote test race.

Wanna switch cars Owens?

If your ford was white maybe. LOL

I'd actually consider it though. I know the black car is prob slower but meh I really wanted to try that car from the onset.

Any rooms up?

For what race?

There is still a jury out on last nights race.

Before anyone gets to excited think about the others uncommon incidents and influence it had on others race.

Imagine being Blaze with the race wrapped up and to DC for absolutely no reason.

It should go down as a official race in my book we did the qualifying like the official race I stayed up all night just to race because i thought we were racing for points and the championship...

I'm not here to argue it. However I do think your being self centered in your decision.

My idea is redo the race. Keep the best finish of the two.

However I'm ok moving on. As stated voted for official race. However I'd change that vote after seeing what happened.

Things do happen in racing Especially and you can't Re do them mate...

Edit: room open 1472 6399 8580 0413 3061 does anyone have any times I could compare to around here?

Room closed

The worst part is I be never been disconnected from a gtplanet organized race except for the room implosion that occurred in season 1 at the 2hr nurture enduro where one person got disconnected every 5 seconds until the room was empty. I'm still laughing about that epic race. Magz was on fire but couldn't catch me before we all got dc'd lol

It seems that the longer the race, the more likely the room is to behave strangely.
We did a test race prior to the nurburgring round for 5 laps, not a hint of lag or screen tearing

Things do happen in motorsports and it is always the stewards job to provide a fair ruling for all competitors. Don't make the mistake of assuming that what flies on F1 is true for all of motorsports because on real life grass roots racing it simply doesn't.
If Pipi was glitched at the begining of the race that's enough grounds to nule the results and redo the race as it was clearly stated before the race this was going to be the course of action. On top of that if PJ's lag did affect Lucky and Pipi that would even be more grounds to nule the race according to what was previously stated here.
Now it wouldn't be fair for everyone to loose a race they completed fair and square, but it wouldn't be fair for anyone to loose a race because of an obvious glitch. The situation it's being looked into and a decission will be posted later on. I agree with Owens's proposition and most likely it will be the course of action, Nurburgring GP-F would become a double race with one of the 2 becoming a drop race.

I must admit tho I did feel abit nervous when I was in front of lucky a few laps. And just looked at replay I had a puncture which caused me to spin and end up hitting the wall bummers to that ...

I think you're dreaming or you were experiencing the same lag issues everyone is complaining about. I didn't touch you. I pit because I had to leave. I had no damage to me that lap. I just pit for the reasons I explained earlier. But sorry you got the bad end of the deal.

well i think we all know what i'm about to say.............
this is a great idea and we should really look into suspending this series until the issues are fixed.

Ok I am relieved took a look at the replay and one of those contacts was verry hard I spun and got T-boned ouch. Just glad to see my car has not become super wimpy.

I think we should re do the race, but if we do that, then just drop the first race results completely. That wouldn't be necessarily fair to the winner, but this race was badly compromised for several drivers due to a glitch, as well as internet connection issues.

I didn't notice any "glitching". There was some lag from a few people, and it caused issues, plus the abnormal drop of a few, but other then that seemed rather normal.

I've only experienced the Online GT5 Glitch twice. The first time the car felt like it was on Hard or Medium tires vs the softs I was on. After a round of pit stops it was fixed. The 2nd time, the car felt normal but lap times were slow. Braking points were the same, corner stability, and exit throttle timing and depressions were the same, just slower lap times. Again it was fixed after the first pit stop. This was the ALMS race, and I was the last to make the pits (I'm nearly positive on this) and after I did, everyone reported it as fixed. It also was around the time people quit out as well though. I'm still going with the pit stop fixes the issue.

I dropped out, checked the timing and scoring, EVERYONE had just set their fastest lap. Frustrating then, quite amusing now. Let's hope it doesn't happen again.

It has happened to me several times in GTPLMP, affecting me just a tad at the start of our race, but its effect had been far more pronounced before. At the Night Series race at Fuji, I qualified 5th, after the issue causing me to lose a place in the qualifying race, then for the entire start of the race up to the first pitstop, it felt like I had hard tyres on, no grip, missing apexes, fishtailing, understeer you couldn't even imagine, then it was all sorted at my first pitstop. This has been an issue even before Spec 2, but it's multiplied now.

I had the issue at the start of the race. Even if toyotasupra getting past me meant that I had to get through him to get to Blaze, I could barely get past toyotasupra, and after that, my pace was just terrible, up to my first pitstop.
