Damn, I'm already counting down the hours till green.![]()
^ My parents didn't seem to like it when I asked for the G27.
Well, they were fine with it until I told them it was $300
"Save your dimes boy!" is all they said.
t_ray_z28lol, yeah, my girlfriend freaked out on me when I told her how much all of this would cost... But then I broke down the expenses of a REAL racecar, and operation there of.. She knows I've always had a thing for racing, and this is WAY cheaper, even if it is, still expensive!
Don't even get me started when I told them about the Thrustmaster.
Ill get a real car from them before I get one of those.
They didn't seem to like it when I stayed up until 2 in the morning racing online either.
It was fun while it lasted.![]()
So... I'm building myself a full on simulator... Up until this point I've been using my DFGT on an old flimsy desk, that more than once I've had to drill holes in and bolt back together, lol. So I ordered a Playseat Evolution, a 32" monitor, A stand for the monitor from Bob Earl Racing, And a noise canceling headset with microphone... Got the headset, and the tv.... No seat.. No stand... I feel like a kid on Christmas! But half my presents are missing.. lol. Just felt like sharing that! Girlfriend isn't interested in any of that, so I figured maybe somebody here might be! lol
im with ya on the that...my wife doesn't care about anything involving my PS3...just the final cost![]()

t_ray_z28I can't complain though! lol, she bought the PS3 AND my DFGT for me!

That's done to simulate the g-forces. Remember the screen moves with you so while you're in the cockpit you don't actually feel the "angling" effect, you just feel getting pushed into the seat just like you would be in a fast accelerating car.I highly doubt that you'd angle that high accelerating unless your pulling wheelies at the strip lol pretty sweet nonetheless tho.

It's actually a very impressive simulator.
