Woah thanks Jav. Just received a gift. Its a gold M3 GTR 03. Looks awesome.đź‘Ť

The podium finishers for each class will be recieving their trophies trough the week.

For that, keep me in the season.
I need to get me a gold BMW. :D
I've calmed down now, I was just REALLY pissed about being disconnected and being repeatedly rammed at the start.
Ah well, there's always next week, look out Flyin!

You would've gotten a gold plated McLaren...

Sorry to hear about the pace lap incident.

Wondering if the speed should be set to 30mph. It slow but easy to maintain in turns and all. Just thinking out loud.

Really enjoyed the race. I had spun out early receiving damage on right front. Drove it out to lap 16 and on like lap 15 I spun on last turn. So pitted and just tried to catch Jav. Got into his rear on the last laps. Really sorry. Completely accidentally.

Thanks all.

I have to admit. I just did an enduro on this same exact course on Friday. So I was already familiar with all my breaking points.

Looking at the replay, it looks like I had the tire advantage. Everyone besides Sephy was running really low on tread. I saw that Rich was sitting at 1/3 left and I was at 1/2. I dont know how you guys do it. I start to panic when the tires are 2/3 gone. Thumbs up for you guys for being able to keep the car on the road.

Again, I go quite aggressive with my setups, so its easy for me to drive quickly over short stints, but during long runs my tires fade badly. I only just realized this during the race, but my fronts were going off quicker than my rears! Maybe it was a bad idea to move the ballast forward....

Out of interest anyone remember their qualifying times?

I ran a 1:57.999! :D

What a great race, very clean racing. Good job Jav. Just happy I didn't mess anyones race up beside the domino's effect after t_ray's little incident :)

lol, yeah, and that was totally my fault! I was watching you and jav instead of the corner coming up! But yeah, seemed to work out well in the end! lol, :sly:

No worries man! I know it was accidental we were running way to low on tires and it was very easy to overcook our braking spots.

IMO, I still think we should have just run 30 laps, starting in our true, qualified starting positions, with no pace lap... Would settle all of this except maybe a build up in turn 1..

I panic at 1/2! lol

Yeah I'm naturally aggresive in my driving. I felt really good, and I just driving really smooth. Although I sort of feel like an idiot now, knowing that drove faster than me consistently, and conserved your tires more...maybe it's your setup tho. I'm not sure, because I've always tried to minimize tire wear but I just can't do it.

Yeah you were flying. Best I could hit was 1.59.5xx. I had a 1.59.588 in race, wondering how close I'll be to everyone else's fastest lap.

Hon1987 I think I ran a mid to high 1:58. But I could only get those times on fresh rubber going all out. For the race I stayed in the 2:00 mark.

I think next week should be really good. Prolly gonna start messing with Indy later on tonight.

This is a pretty good point, especially considering the first turn, most people drive slow. But then again, there's the point of having GT2 finish within the time limit.

The pace lap tho, if done correctly, spaces everyone out and does help this. We just had one person who messed it up today.

I felt the same way last week when my race ended on lap 1. But even though again it was over before Jav crossed the start line, I decided to stick with it because of all the practicing I did. Didn't want it all to be for not.

Yeah I think if we can get the pace lap routine down, it should be a good race. I noticed as I was passing GT2 cars, everyone was trying to let me by in the oddest places. I even overshot turn 6 a little at one point trying to pass, but everyone kept it together and I re-entered behind the car I was trying to pass. Even the slightly wide birth after a high speed pass in turn 1 was very well dealt with by two drivers I passed.

I don't mind the heavy damage, it keeps people in check, but again, as I stated, folks have to know how to race with it on, especially the pace lap.

If only points were given out for fastest laps!:) Seems I need to tame my driving style a bit if I'm to get the best out of my tires! Oh well I'll settle for third with limited running in GT2!

Seeing the GT1 guys catch up so quickly made me want to bust my Zonda out!

Fastest laps will be up shortly, we are a bit busy investigating the race incidents.

I have a question.. When I was lapping a GT1 car it felt I was racing him, should they let the race leader pass? Usually thats a blue flag right?

Yup! Being lapped is an instant blue flag and the car being passed must never race the car lapping him.

Agree, we should NEVER get damage espacially on the pace lap, it's frustrating to enter the pit for nothing. For ALL of you folks, keep ENOUGH distance on the pace lap ! It's been said plenty of time already but still a problem...

Having watched the GT2 pace lap a few times ( I keep pressing quit when scrolling down the driver list :banghead: ) I have noticed that gtamann was morse coding a message to gogatrs quite a lot. How gtamann got away with little to no damage astounds me! Don't be too harsh on the guy though, he has been struggling with setup issues all week!

Also I think a minimum speed should be enforced, some where along the lines of 80kph min, 120kph max.

Don't worry man, seems like it won't be happening again. Jav is laying down the law.

But I agree, mistakes DO happen and they can be avoided with a few car lengths of space.

Guys let me know what you think of the team names, since no one came up with team names I had to make them up...

I hope i wasn't being too aggressive with the defending! My tyres were spent at that point and your car is better in the corners! Lucky for me the Mclaren has good grunt! Was like our practice run together that time!

Not at all! Having ran with you a few times during practice I know how clean you are. If I am trying to pass you make me work for it! It's also the only reason I was sticking to you like glue and even passing mid-corner lol. If it was someone I had never raced against and didn't know their style I wouldn't have done a few of those things. I thank you for making the race interesting!

Also I think I need to move my ballast back. My front tires wear out so fast!

Jav I love the team names lol!
