I hadn't planned any strategies out per se, but was aiming to run to lap 15 and pit every 14 laps. When I got the damage early on I thought i could still have the pace to make a 3 stopper work. Turns out 3 stops aren't allowed? Or was it a glitch? I noticed Mojotoker was in the pits for half the race? Either way it's not fun running around 10 seconds off the pace!

I knew I would never catch you. Had 16 laps on soft to do me to the end and 5 secs behind. If I pushed I would of came out a lot worst. So I nursed my tires racing along tatoune. Pretty sure he had the same idea. Try finish the race 2nd. We both had a epic race till to the end, 2 tenths!!

Was you speeding? I was told 100 mph by that line. However I think 120 us more right cause my car speeds up going in.
Anyone recall their speed entrance speed.
Another fantastic race!!! Loved it. Been great to had two more laps. I was moving on 2nd and 3rd. As they was battling. I was able to reel the in a bunch. Just not enough time.

It's not speeding, I floor it into pits everytime on every track.
I'm still disappointed my race got spoiled. Even tho Gogatrs would've had me on tires, I'm not one to just give in (even tho it wasn't my fault)

I don't know what happened with the pit lane, watch the replay! I ran in, it switched to cockpit view so I assumed auto control was on, realized it wasn't! Tried again after gaining damage from total lack of grip( under steered in to the wall on the final curve!

Oh hon btw there was a part there before we came onto the straight I bumped you on accident. I apologize. I moved over and kept to the right and slowed a bit to let you by me because I felt what I did was a little dirty. It was great racing with you again though!

It was an extremely close race! Was some awsome racing, was cool to see a group of 5 GT1 cars bumper to bumper lap after lap battling for the lead! at the end startegy paid off for me I was able to go 16 laps on the first and second stint, at the end had 4 laps worth of tires over everyone else so I could push with no problem at all!

Lol!! After getting damaged and tapped off track by one of the BMW who was spining I had to push to be able to catch up with the lead pack. I got within 7 seconds of them but it wasn't enough so I had to run longer on the tires to have any hope at a good result, so I extended my first stint to the end of lap 16.
On the second stint I had the better tires and was able to catch the lead pack and pass them thank's to having relatively fresh tires, I was able to extend the 2nd stint to 16 laps again and come out of the pits in 1st.
On the 3rd stint I had brand new tires while everyone had at least 4 laps in theirs, by the end of the race I had pretty good tires and was able to pull away from the pack.

On the finish line i tried desperatly to knock him out... shame on me !!!! 
I might even get a penalty for that too...

haha was close last lap, nearly spun out on the yellow stripes before the S turn.

Yeah, I'd of stayed with you guys too, but I got behind a bit, and tried to catch up using a draft off gogatrs on the front straight, but I went outside to pass because I was going too fast to go inside through the corner, and I think he moved over to give me room, but he moved outside... so I plowed into the wall and jacked up my steering for the last 13 laps
... I'm happy with 5th though. Probably where I would have wound up anyway!

As for passing GT2. GT2 if you see the GT1 car coming hold the line you are going. Basically don't shift sides trying to make room. Keep put and let them drive around. It's win win. This has been discussed just something to think about when you see one steaming up on you.
Had two times where GT2 moved and threw me off. I was set to go around if they stated In their current line.
All part of learning IMO. I learned the cars the moved and used caution next time by.
I don't mean this disrespectful or anything. I made several mistakes just more less a friendly reminder

Anybody got the replays? Can you export it and upload it somewhere? I'd love to see it. I overslept, too. 
Anyways, it sounds like it was a great race, some trouble in the pits I guess? That's another reason I'd like to see the replays, to investigate these strange pits (after the second one, a third one wasn't possible?).

I asked jav for it via PSN after the race for it as well. I was curious about the first few laps and I don't wanna call anyone out unless I know I should. I'd give him a day or two since it requires a USB and a good ten minutes of fiddling time.

Assuming we are all N.America. However if not then you will need a Replay from you zone.
It can be exported to XBM the. I think loaded from the browser on PS3. Rapid share or something. Then download via browser and you got it on the ps3. This may not work like a PC. Anyone?
