I am North American and I do believe you can export a replay to the XMB, transfer it to a USB device, and upload it to a file share (Mediafire, Mega Upload, etc.). Then being able to download it to PC, transfering to a USB device unto the XMB, then importing it to a GT5 game data is also possible. Lot's of steps, but possible. Just got to figure out the folder it's in (not hard, easy even).

The replay may not be restricted to region, but here's to hoping, I guess.

I asked jav for it via PSN after the race for it as well. I was curious about the first few laps and I don't wanna call anyone out unless I know I should. I'd give him a day or two since it requires a USB and a good ten minutes of fiddling time.

I'll get it uploaded in a few!

Yeah, I'd of stayed with you guys too, but I got behind a bit, and tried to catch up using a draft off gogatrs on the front straight, but I went outside to pass because I was going too fast to go inside through the corner, and I think he moved over to give me room, but he moved outside... so I plowed into the wall and jacked up my steering for the last 13 laps :ouch:... I'm happy with 5th though. Probably where I would have wound up anyway! :dopey:

Try to drive so long with heavy damage, you're a man !

Nobody volunteered for it?:guilty:

I told them I would do it, but they said they didn't need it. In the second race, um...EDIT [let's just say there was a traffic jam before the formation lap began.]

I think the more racers the better which was why we wanted you to race. Your in the points and you have a lot of potential. You were in race one so why not race too and hon I love the classy pace car you have lol very cool

I think at that point my tires were too far gone to defend! There were worser taps on me in the first 3 laps tbh Sephy, so don't sweat over it 👍

That was me on the first lap ''tapping'' you in the back end under braking.

It was in actuality alot more than a tap... :ouch:

I NEED to get some practice under my belt with you guys during the week. I come in last minute and I got NO idea what the different braking points are for each drivers. Which led to the incident with hon on the FIRST lap.

I stopped with heavy damage after the incident, got back on track but I was so pissed at myself that I couldn't concentrate on racing anymore. Went back into the pits and parked it.

Very sorry hon, I shoulda picked the inside line for that corner. I just didn't know your braking point was sooner than mine but I still should've anticipated. :dunce:

To the race stewards, I'm totally fine with being penalized for that bonehead move, you guys don't even have to look at the replay. I'll take the blame for effectively screwing up hon's race.

It's too bad really, it was shaping up to be an awsome race. 👍

Congrats on the win Sephy and Jav. :gtpflag:

By the way, I'm not sure we (GT2) lined up correctly for the start. I think hon was on the wrong (outside) line. Can someone confirm this?

👍 Hats off to you for being honest.

Yeah, seriously, we don't get too many drivers now a days that actually do that. Oh, and what car did you use hon, for the pace car?

I've seen the replay, and since no formal complaint has been filed it will be treated as an unfortunate racing incident. No penaties will be assessed.

The file does not seem to be there. Did you upload it to the correct folder?

When I transfer from the xmb to the usb the data is broken up in like 30 different files, I've put all the files in that folder.
I've never done this so I may be doing something wrong...

It what? First I've heard of this. I'll check again.

EDIT: Ok, I see the files. Looks like you're still reuploading them just now. Looks like it splits the data up every 2 MB, like a rar file. Why so low? I know that the HDD can handle file sizes up to 2 GB. Do you know what the original folder was called?

Just to let you guys know, all those different parts is supposed to be there. idk why GT5 does that but that's normal, I've exported replays before.

Alright I see it now. Jav you need to Zip the files THEN upload the zip. Otherwise we can't download it.

Must be some sort of file management (don't see why or why the file size is so low)?

I don't think we lined up correctly either.
The poll sitter should always be on the inside for the first turn.
Coming out of the last turn, we all shuffled up for some reason.

Is anybody upset with my start?
How I slowed down, and then started accelerating before the flag dropped. I never passed anyone until after Hon started accelerating.
I was able to time it perfectly so I flew by everybody except for Hon and then outbraked him on the first turn.

I was quite proud of that!

I just want to say I'm not going to lodge an appeal, at the end of the day we are here to have fun!

As for the start for gt2, I got forgot I was on the inside on the grid, what with gt1 having odd numbers?

I prefer the outside line in t1 mostly any ways, but if I did wrong please feel free to punish me as necessary!

I don't think the grid lineup was a problem at all. I was just getting so antsy I swear hon kept speeding up and slowing down I kept thinking we were starting :D

And hon if anything you put yourself at a disadvantage, you're fine 👍

The skyline gtr pace car. The pros choice! I think an SLS with a full FIA livery would be great. If not plain silver will do!

Oh well all in all a good race, struggled at the end but salvaged third so I can have no complaints! I think the every car that's not a mclaren will thrive at suzuka! I'm looking at u vette drivers!

Hah. Should've figured.

On another note, the replay data comes in 52 individual parts, plus some additional data, pics too. If I'd known it would've been such a hastle, I wouldn't have asked. I appreciate you uploading the data Jav.

Jav

See previous post. If I were to export my 24 hour enduro replay, it'd take about 500+ files, and that's not a ballpark guess. 500 files for the replay data itself, plus four more (extra and meta data and two pics). Again, thanks a lot.

EDIT: I have a new theory as to why the data is supposedly broken into chunks. Just dawned on me while thinking about my enduro replay.

Actually you did it how you were supposed to, pole position on Indianapolis is the outside line.

Man you need to teach me how to do that, can you pm me a broken down guide on how to do it? Please?
I'll get on it when I get back home tonight!

Got the files. Total file size: 105 MB. Parts: 53 plus 2 additional data files, and 2 picture files. That's a lot of work and is greatly appreciated. Thank you very much. If anybody wants to hear my theory as to why the files are split...let me know.

I can zip them up for you. In fact, they already are. If you are using Windows Vista or higher (I do not remember if this was available as an option in XP), just highlight all files ([ctrl+a]), right click on any highlighted file, then under "Send to", click on "Compressed (zipped) folder". Your PC should be compressing the data into a zip file. The original files will remain outside the file. The name of the file will be the same as the file either clicked on, or the first file compressed.
