GTPlanet iRacing Touring Car Cup. *interest*

The official, and definate, date for the start of this is the 25th of September, so just over a week. I do apologise for it taking a bit of time but I am sure it will be all worth it in the end!
I was hoping the choice of car wouldn't be a problem, I figured the closest racing I watch irl is BTCC, FWD touring cars, Jetta should be simalair, door to door touring car racing. Shame iRacing has no DTM or such. Didnt wanna pick anything too quick/hard to drive as it could become less fun in struggling to drive the car rather than focussing on racing eachother.

Personally, I don't have a problem with the Jetta; it's not my favourite car by any means but I think it's a fun car to race with. Going by last weeks 'practice' the racing is going to be a great laugh!

Hampus, youre so right, summit is totally under estimated! Summit point is my overall favorite track from the ones i currently have!

Especially the 2nd half of the track is pure driving pleasure!

I quit the race, I can not get the hang of that jetta. Every turn seems like it's the first time I'm driving the thing.

Well..... I think I need help with this Jetta!

I'm so far off the pace in this thing, it's scary! I'm struggling with understeer and basically, top-line speed. I'm still not sure when the best time is to change up? I think I've been over-revving it and spent half the race trying to find the 'sweet-spot'. As you saw from my result, I didn't find it! lol

Any tips greatly appreciated... 👍
